I only just now figured out how to disarm mines properly. I feel like an idiot.
i never did
i just throw boxes at them
Does anyone else find it hillarious that David Sarif talks like a 12 year old girl in his emails with the godawful spelling and emoticons? It killed me that the CEO of such a powerful company couldn't fucking type.

I found it more jarring that the[sp] Illuminati part of Picus [/sp]used emoticons and talked about how the new guy has a nice ass.

Illumaniti? THOSE SOUND LIKE SPOILER WORDS
Oh, did I mention? I got to meet the voice actor for Adam Jensen today. He seems cool.

Did you give him a quest?
did he sound like adam jensen
Not at all actually. He really puts on that voice. You could hear it a little, but he's raspy-ing it up.
Did you give him a quest?
I should have given him a bunch of shit just so he could respond with...
oh fuck it you know what I'm going to say

Honestly he seems pretty childish to me
[sp]When you confront him about what he was trying to hide from you he's very dodgy, like how a kid would act when you catch them doing something they aren't supposed to[/sp]
should have recorded him saying something in his voice

he seems pretty innocent, ignorant, and narrow-sighted throughout the whole thing
it's sometimes easy to forget that the IS your boss and that he CAN fire you
CURSED SPOILER TAGS
IT's hard to resist urges.
Fun fact: I am weak, and end up spoiling, like every game ever. Except for Dead Space and Amnesia, The Dark Descent. I worked FUCKING HARD ON THOSE 2.
I can DO IT AGAIN
He was a serious bro though. I told him how I really liked his work and everything. It was outside of a gamestop. I totally considered buying a copy there and then to get him to sign it or something
but I only had 35$.
Weep for me
He does the voice too
You know, when he says "Adam" like a kid would say "but mommmm"

He has this air of innocent idealism.

I didn't have anything on me, besides, I don't want to be intrusive. He probably gets asked a lot to say stuff.
Apparently he does work on Assasins's Creed and Splinter Cell.

[sp]Except when you realize there is a reason that he keeps you, despite how much of a dick you can act like, for an employee.[/sp]
I also met the guy who voices Sgt. Woods in Black OPs but you don't give a shit
[sp]Except when you realize there is a reason that he keeps you, despite how much of a dick you can act like, for an employee.[/sp]
[sp]Yes, I'd LOVE for my chief security officer to be the one solely responsible for slowing my industry down decades and eventually even stopping it! Isn't that cheery?[/sp]
[sp](referring to one of the endings)[/sp]
[sp]Except when you realize there is a reason that he keeps you, despite how much of a dick you can act like, for an employee.[/sp]
[sp]He's also kind of a dick because Adam only had to get his chest and left arm augmented to save his life[/sp]
I do think HR falls short to Deus EX story wise strangely.
[sp] You never truly find out who's behind everything, no true vengeance for your parents, and characters aren't developed much at all. (Pritchard felt very lacking, along with Reed)
It's really hard to tell why nano-augmentation catched on now.
In the end all you did was hinder the Illuminati and it's hard to tell how much, if even truly at all.
The ending feels like closure, but many questions are left, even the endings in Deus EX showed what was to come, in Human Revolutions it shows nothing slightly like that.
I guess you already know what is to come, but that just shows more of how little Jensen actually did. [/sp]
except taggart is an insecure insulting psychoanalyzing megalomaniacal sociopathic asshole and sarif is fucking bro
i was constantly expecting [sp]sarif to fuck me over and be some kind of criminal mastermind behind everything
but it never happened which was a really awesome relief and it turns out he really is just a cool dude and a nice boss who really did have faith in you and only kept things from you in a misguided attempt to protect you
what a bad ass[/sp]

[sp]maybe a sequel? You have to admit, all of the endings to the story are great cliffhangers, and there are still things that need to be set right before the original game if I am to understand what's being said here.[/sp]
Well he is certainly a unique one, I'll give you that
He could easily be evil but his character and childlike innocence keep him from it

[sp] I'm assuming DLC will come out for it [/sp]
Ending music on loop.
Sooooooo depressing.
what difficulty?
I did hardest while non-lethal. I had 500 Heavy Rifle rounds for when I fought the bosses.

dude i got fully augmented with top of the line shit and it was all free
how is he not a total boss for that?
[sp] I'm assuming DLC will come out for it [/sp]
Still, a whole new game leading up to Deus Ex would be pretty amazing and I wouldn't be surprised if they did it. I feel like Jensen's story could keep going.
I did hardest while non-lethal. I had 500 Heavy Rifle rounds for when I fought the bosses.
i never used the heavy rifle. didnt want or need it, it takes up too much space and i had so much ammo for my other guns that i could just use them.

But it's a freakin' minigun, I don't give a damn if my other guns work better I'm killing my bosses in style.
