I found all the endings bullshit, none of them make sense.
Hmmm I wonder what game he could be talking about: [img_thumb]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/578932219575650115/A1B4D13ADBD28194FA31615446AAECF35E90610F/[/img_thumb] Augmented love: [img_thumb]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/578932219575646893/1A2A10C777C771B8D82CB21393D4B1B2D8D28D81/[img_thumb] Hmm my second picture doesn't seem to want to be linked to.
Yeah. You just kill everyone. I did it in like... 40 seconds. Maybe less. Snapped a few necks, impaled a few femoral arteries, blew a few people away point blank with buckshot. That kind of thing. It wasn't really too hard. Don't see why so many people found it difficult.
I killed everyone but I didn't have an emp for the robot. I went back to [sp]get her out of the helicopter[/sp] but you can't do anything while the robot's hanging around. [sp]Also if she dies you find her on an operating table dead in the harvester base. IT MADE ME ANGRY[/sp]
[sp]You learn a lot throughout the game about Adam's past (especially if you read emails and shit), but they still never explain exactly why Adam was being 'watched' or whom it was exactly that 'spooked' David (I'd assume it was the Illuminati, but I don't think it was explicitly stated as such). I mean... why were they watching Adam anyway? They must have had a hand in events if they decided to watch him and spook David over it.[/sp]
[sp]Because his DNA had the basis for nanoaugmentation or something[/sp]
I found all the endings bullshit, none of them make sense.
They all seemed good to me.
I feel like there were a LOT of questions that weren't entirely answered in Human Revolution and it kind of bugged me. They went on about Adam being special but didn't entirely explain why (I mean if you did the side quests in your second visit to Detroit you learn most of the story about why Adam's special, but not the specifics exactly. A lot of questions still remain, and I still want to know why Sarif got 'spooked'). They brought up a lot of leads that seemed to disappear later on in the story and I really wish they'd have been of more consequence. [sp]Also, what happens to Megan and the other scientists if Malik dies at the crash site in Hengsha?[/sp]
[sp]Adam is special because his DNA can handle the augmentations permanently[/sp] [editline]29th August 2011[/editline]
They all seemed good to me.
Taggart's Ending made no sense. [sp]Why would telling the truth about some faggots trying to control people with technology mean no scientific research would ever be done again?[/sp]
Good luck doing that in A non-lethal run.
It's not too hard if you have some energy bars and use the takedowns.
Good luck doing that in A non-lethal run.
Loooots of gas grenades
Trainer update http://dl.dropbox.com/u/23737955/crx/Release_BETA_V2.rar
1 still exits the game. Couldn't you just give the player a bunch of praxis with each button push ? that would be easier.
[sp]Because his DNA had the basis for nanoaugmentation or something[/sp]

[sp]Adam is special because his DNA can handle the augmentations permanently[/sp]
I know this. What I don't understand is who was 'watching over' him. I mean they make it pretty clear that someone was following him. Someone spooked David. [sp]The Illuminati? Did they have a hand in everthing?[/sp] They didn't explain WHY he had that ability either. [sp]White Helix was, as far as we know, a group looking into childhood genetic conditions; why exactly did they end up with a child who could accept augmentations. Who were they involved with in order to make them start looking into augmentations? Or was their work into childhood genetic conditions a front for their real work? Were they a research division for the Illuminati?[/sp]
I killed everyone but I didn't have an emp for the robot. I'm sure a non-upgraded, base typhoon system would probably take out anything in two shots.
It's not too hard if you have some energy bars and use the takedowns.
I didn't want to risk losing foxiest of the hounds, so I didn't let myself be spotted. I tried using tranq darts but it can't penetrate their armor. [sp] so I let her die.[/sp] [editline]29th August 2011[/editline] Anyway, I'm going to start a new game of Deus Ex: No Subtitle Edition now. Don't know how I'll play, I'm considering a hybrid style, with no quicksaves.

Regarding Boss battles Am I the only one who found [sp] Barrett the hardest boss? I didnt have much to fight him, Yelena I killed by shocking her on the generators and hopping to avoid the electric damage, and Namir I ran round in circles shooting him with a shotgun when he vaults over the walls.[/sp]
Where the hell is Taggart in [sp]Panchea? I can't find him to talk to him.[/sp]

Did anyone else find the stealth enhancer aug to be totally worthless, except maybe for cones of vision?
Does anyone know the passcode to Seurat's safe in his apartment?
[sp]The whole chip thing annoys me though, I get the distinct feeling that everything after finding Megan was Squeenix's ideas. Also, what the happens to you if you took the chip when Darrow's signal gets broadcast?[/sp] Last section of the game spoilers.
nah it never seemed like an interesting aug to me.
You're DEFINITELY missing out, man. Used in combination with the Icarus Landing System it's fucking AMAZING. Stun enemies on your way down, then unleash absolute hell on them.
My friend keeps crashing to desktop when trying to enter the lift to the Datacore room in TYM. Anyone else had this? Apparently he's run out of instances.
You're DEFINITELY missing out, man. Used in combination with the Icarus Landing System it's fucking AMAZING. Stun enemies on your way down, then unleash absolute hell on them.
Useless if non lethal, except maybe for bosses and the two times you have to attack robots.
Did anyone else find the stealth enhancer aug to be totally worthless, except maybe for cones of vision?
I'm finding the targeting system to be useful in some occasions, especially in combination with the see-through walls aug. But I don't know why anyone would need anymore than the base 3.
Useless if non lethal, except maybe for bosses and the two times you have to attack robots.
Yeah but after playing about a quarter of the game in non-lethal mode I quickly realised that non-lethal is nowhere near as much fun as lethal, so... doesn't bug me too much.
Yeah but after playing about a quarter of the game in non-lethal mode I quickly realised that non-lethal is nowhere near as much fun as lethal, so... doesn't bug me too much.
I find that both have their fun to them. I get a certain satisfaction from hiding in the shadows, getting past entire groups of enemies without them seeing me. Using silent, non-lethal takedowns and slowly annihilating everyone in the room without anybody realizing something is wrong, and relying on trickery and deciet. At the same time, there's nothing quite like getting a headshot with your trust 10mm, or just impaling a guy with your arm swords. I just prefer stealth, and if possible, non lethal, in games.
[sp]Megan fixed it for you[/sp]
Would be cool if it gave you a non-standard game over where you [sp]go berserk, kill Megan and no one is able to stop the signal.[/sp]
Huh, I just realized that I can blow up doors instead of hacking them if my capture isn't high enough.
[sp]Wasn't Sarif the ONLY person working to make Augmentation safe (as in only person you encounter in the game)? It was EVERYONE ELSE who wanted to milk the technology for money. Sarif seemed liked one of the only people in the field who had legitimately noble goals to achieve from the technology; everyone else was just looking for money and power. Sarif could be a little bit aggressive in his tactics at some points, but I think all over he was a good guy who only wanted the best to come from augmentation technology.[/sp]
[sp]Sarif is an incredibly kind and generous person, it surprised me that a man with such great power wasn't corrupt.[/sp]
