Would be cool if it gave you a non-standard game over where you [sp]go berserk, kill Megan and no one is able to stop the signal.[/sp]
I would have been livid if I had fallen for that trick if that happened.
Regarding Boss battles
Am I the only one who found [sp] Barrett the hardest boss? I didnt have much to fight him, Yelena I killed by shocking her on the generators and hopping to avoid the electric damage, and Namir I ran round in circles shooting him with a shotgun when he vaults over the walls.[/sp]
[sp]I thought Barret was impossible, until I realized you can win the fight just by throwing an EMP grenade and then quickly grabbing the gas containers and explosive barrels and throwing it at him.[/sp] :v:

The Praxis Points option crashes the game.

[sp]Yeah, that's what I did, until I ran out of explosive barrels and had to rely on stunning him and shooting him to death.[/sp]
[sp]Yeah, that's what I did, until I ran out of explosive barrels and had to rely on stunning him and shooting him to death.[/sp]
[sp]He had more health on the hardest difficulty, so not all the barrels killed him so I took a few rounds of my modified pistol at him and he went down. I beat Yelena just by typhooning.[/sp]
[sp]Sarif is an incredibly kind and generous person, it surprised me that a man with such great power wasn't corrupt.[/sp]
[sp]He was an incredibly good person. A bit childish at times, but all over he was a good man and wanted to see the good in people. He seemed to me to want to be a good friend rather than a good boss.[/sp]

[sp]Easiest boss to me. 4 EMP grenades and shotgun to the face while he was stunned and he was down for the count.[/sp]
Man
I give up, I'm a console gamer at heart and Give me Deus Ex on the PC is just far to brutal for me, guards will hear me a few rooms away, pinpoint where I am no matter how far away I go, then kill me by looking at me. It wouldn't be so bad but with the crosshair gone and how awful the hit detection on the stun gun is I just can't do it.
I'll forever be at 94% achievements.
(Missing Foxiest of Hounds, I could do it but not doing another playthrough just for one achievement)
(Legend)
(Find 29 books, seriously I looked everywhere and read all of them that I could find, with no checklist or way to cross them off it's another find x objects in the world to me.)

You can re-enable the crosshairs in the menu.
And how can you be spotted a few rooms away? Stop sprinting, guards can barely see even 10 meters in front of them.
And by the way, if you miss the first ebook right in the beginning of the game you won't get the achievement.
Huh, I just realized that I can blow up doors instead of hacking them if my capture isn't high enough.
I actually opened a few doors by tossing boxes into them 20-30 times when my hack skill wasn't high enough (I didn't like being forced to put points in to it)
Unfortunately at one point I threw a box into a door and it sailed into a large room beyond, and triggered some laser tripwires, after that point I think I gave in and started hacking.
It's very useful if you have space/time to work with to get doors open.
I loved hacking in the game. I throw most of my praxis points into capture and stealth so my hacking won't be detected.
I don't know why but when I see a computer or something, I have to hack it. My mind won't let me ignore it.

Sounds like you're running around instead of taking your time. They'll only hear you if you're stomping around like a crazy person.♦
I would have been livid if I had fallen for that trick if that happened.
If you read emails and shit it's pretty obvious there's something up with it, plus not dying to something that's going through other people like nothing just because you're the main character annoys me.
Damn this game is almost perfect. So many quests and etc. Epic atmosphere.
And so much ways and places, need to see them all

If you had two cents in your head it should be obvious anyway. As soon as it was mentioned, the first thing out of my mouth was "trap".
It surprises me that on the global achievements for Deus Ex on Steam, only 88.3% got the First Take down achievement.
Nearly 12% of people who bought this game haven't even started it? What gives?
So according to the in-game ticker there's only 4:35hrs left till they announce something?

that first one for
goddammit all to hell.
Also not sprinting at all, walking a few rooms away, hear the alert noise, nothing on radar, quickly crouch and head to the back of the room behind boxes, few minutes later guy enters walks straight to where I am and shoots the shit out of me.
This guy took his takedown like a champ

Yep. You see, the game is actually training us using subliminal messaging to turn us into highly trained super soldiers. In four and a half hours, they activate the code that turns us on. Then we take over the world.
i rented this game its pretty awesome i may buy it on the PC.
but i have a question. so did jensen lose his... ughh "package" or has his penis been "augmented"?

I didn't ask for this.

[sp]Yeah, it's waaaaay too coincidental. I mean what are the odds that augments would start randomly fucking up at EXACTLY the same time as all of the shit that happens in Human Revolution goes down? Not fucking likely. Augments have been around for years in HR, they could have fucked up at ANY point in the past. Even without reading the emails in the TYM building it's pretty fucking obvious that something sinister is going on.[/sp]

You get free augs.
You think that's bad? 25% of the people who own borderlands on steam haven't reached level five.
Well that's because Borderlands sucked so yeah, I can understand that.
Also not sprinting at all, walking a few rooms away, hear the alert noise, nothing on radar, quickly crouch and head to the back of the room behind boxes, few minutes later guy enters walks straight to where I am and shoots the shit out of me.
Walking is more like jogging, just stay crouched.
Are you standing in front of a camera?
Nope, using this as a example, but when I'm in the first mission after getting my augments, I knock out the first guard right away he doesn't even walk down his path, and I'll open the door at the end of his patrol route, suddenly alert, will wait for it to die down even though no ones on my radar, will turn on walk and slip in, loot around the room and on the way out ALERT, turn around and go back in, hide behind the crap in the room in the very back, watch the guy appear on the radar, walk around the entire building, open the door, walk straight to where I am and shoot the shit out of me. Sometimes firing before even getting to me when it's impossible to see me in the first place.
I got further in and shit like that keeps happening and I really don't want to crawl everywhere, I'm fine with stealth but this is honestly stupid when me breathing is enough to get a entire facility to kill me.
Also who else did this, I can't be the only one
