IW was fun what is everyone talking about
Out of curiosity, how many times have you guys died/reloaded on the boss fights (on the Deus Ex difficulty). I think I reached about 30 in the second fight, desperately looking for a safe bit of space.
I died once on the second fight because I accidentally threw a frag and blew myself up
So, is anyone else having problems installing this? I was getting a "Steam servers are too busy to handle your request" error, even though I'm installing it from a freaking DVD... Now when I try to install it, a window without text pops up in steam and nothing happens. I never asked for this...
IW was the first bitter taste of dumbed down sequels I ever had [editline]29th August 2011[/editline] Seriously, IGN praised the storyline because they didn't understand the plot of the first Deus Ex What a joke
So, got a working one?
I used the one from this haxor guy, the one that you need to verify (and crash your game constantly if it cannot reach the sync server). It works. But currently I use one from ".Dude". It may crashes the game on level transitions tho, but to counter this you simply deactivate all the options.
Oh and just a heads up but GRIP entertainment for some reason handled the boss fights and in the interview the guy admits coming into it from a shooter background. Guess there's that mystery solved.
Care to link?
I have 11 Praxis points right now and I don't know what I should upgrade. :(
I have 11 Praxis points right now and I don't know what I should upgrade. :(
Max out cloak, carry space and get a couple of two point augs.
Shanghai justice question: [sp]does anyone know the media screen code in the end of the mission? hacking it is a pain in my augmented arse.[/sp]

Took it long enough to "prepare the Deus Ex: Human Revolution files for install" though, I had to wait like 10 minutes or so...
5 minutes until the special message.
Max out cloak, carry space and get a couple of two point augs.
I've maxed out my carry space, but I was thinking about getting cloak and maxing out the energy recharge and units. I'm about to enter the [sp]shipyard[/sp] so I guess it's time to get cloak.
Shanghai justice question: [sp]does anyone know the media screen code in the end of the mission? hacking it is a pain in my augmented arse.[/sp]
Use your stop worms and/or nukes.

[editline]29th August 2011[/editline] How useful is dermal armour, aim stabiliser and recoil compensation augs in firefights, by the way? I did a stealthy non-lethal play through first time around so I literally don't know how much they help.

I have 9 of the boxes of energy bars, 5 single bars and 3 of the jars on me right now. If I don't get extra cells those boxes and jars are wasted. Just have to manage your takedowns.
where are you, special message
Use your stop worms and/or nukes.
That's the problem... I dont have any on me
where are you, special message
Maybe the special message is that there is no special message.
By the end of my normal playthrough i was pretty much maxed out on all the useful augs.

It's really useful if you have a heavy rifle.
Just finished the game, went with [sp] Sarif's ending [/sp]. GOTY.
Just finished the game, went with [sp] Sarif's ending [/sp]. GOTY.
I don't know if it's GOTY just yet. Still have a lot of games coming out. Definitely my favorite of the year so far though.
That's the problem... I dont have any on me
Getting them is really easy. I just finished the game with 25 worms and 50 nukes. Though that is probably a result of my compulsive hoarding to prepare for later. I carried 2 gas grenades around for half the game.
:f5:
Just started playing this game, so much fun.
Just don't need them that much when I have Stealth Hacking 3.
its worth getting armour upto lvl 2 and the emp/electricity protection, i think its worth getting the wall breaking ability as soon as possible as well to increase the amount of routes you can take, i didnt have the ILS aug but i only saw a couple of places where it might of been useful
He can fuck right off about the NPC's - I noticed that people respond differently to what you do in the game - but they're not random. Each NPC has a personality, and while it may not be very deep, that's a pretty fucking astonishing level of detail to put into the game that very few other games have. For example, after the first (or I guess it's the second) mission, there are a whole bunch of cops outside. One of them will be looking out for the interest of the hostages, one will want all the purists dead, and one will think that killing them is murder. Depending on what approach you take, they will always have the same personality, but what they say differs based on what you did. If I kill all the Purity First people, that one cop will call me a murderer. The other will say they deserved to be put down, the other will thank me for saving the hostages. No matter what you do, you will NEVER please everybody. If you do any of those things differently they will respond accordingly. I think that's an awesome amount of NPC depth that most games don't have.
The only thing that bothered me with the NPC'S was that just after the mission in Shanghai where [sp] Malik hacks into the hive nightclub and play's the recording of the man who killed her sister, I would have expected everyone to be watching the recording and reacting but instead it seemed like the broadcast was completed ignored by the civilians and the military police(One just walked off like nothing happened) [/sp]
It's probably a md5 hash or something.
okM8-+Ds4Dui?lmh$mzuml45Bqe7G.16=u74b?mkh-45ki60d+98XBPCku7 it's not hexadecimal, so that rules out base64 and all of the md's and SHA's
