Where can I get a trainer for it?
Speaking of a lack of intelligence... [editline]30th August 2011[/editline] Oh, he edited now.
If you right click -> copy image location in the steam browser, it gives you the location on your hard-drive. I forgot that for a while, dragfag. [editline]30th August 2011[/editline]
Where can I get a trainer for it?
If you are that bad at FPS's just play easy mode.
If you right click -> copy image location in the steam browser, it gives you the location on your hard-drive. I forgot that for a while, dragfag.
'dragfag' What's that supposed to mean?
Dunno if this has already been covered, but the easiest way to save Malik is to just attract the attention of enemies. For example, quickly pop off shots at every enemy in the area, don't worry about killing them off one by one. Shoot near them and they'll stop shooting at her to focus on you. Once they're all blasting at you, you don't have to be so hasty as Malik will be fine. Same with the big robot, as long as you pop off a shot toward it every once in a while it'll leave her alone.
I saved her in one go. Shot the enemies with a sniper from where I start, when the helicopter arrived with the robot I just Used cover the get closer, knocked out one of the enemies and threw a EMP grenade on the robot. Then I just shoot the enemies who left and for some reason the remaining enemies just disappeared and Malik thanked me for saving her. Edit: Also, I didn't get any attention from the enemies
'dragfag' What's that supposed to mean?
He faps to dragon porn, thus dragfag.
I found that Haas guy to be my favorite character. I find his personality and expressions very... human. I don't know, they just captured his character very well, I guess.
[sp]you're near the second boss. I've been playing for about 5-10 hours after that, and I still have more of HK to explore again, but I'm not sure there's much after that. my playtime is nearly 30 now[/sp] I got a question i want to ask. Early game spoiler: [sp]If you help megan's mother find out what happened to megan, when you talk to the ex-cop who tells you where the files about her are stashed, firstly he wont give you the password but you can convince him to, he then asks you not to use it unless you have to, and that you try hack you way in, else he's certain they'l know he gave up the password. Well I put in the password without hacking just to see if later he gets killed or whatever, and he has disappeared for me on my return to detroit. If i didn't essentially rat him out like that, would he still be at the building he was before?[/sp]
He disappeared for me too and I DIDN'T get into the safe (was about the ONLY thing in the game I didn't end up hacking: didn't have a high enough level to hack it, and ran out of those auto-hack tools).
Is everybody in here using AMD graphics cards or something? I just don't understand why I can't play this game without crashing all the time.
Is everybody in here using AMD graphics cards or something? I just don't understand why I can't play this game without crashing all the time.
I use Nvidia on my desktop. But for some reason I can't raise certain settings because it closes my game and tells me an error has occurred and I got to change the settings. Something about not enough memory. Though on my laptop, I have an AMD FirePro and it runs maxed out and it doesn't give me any errors when I bust up the graphics. Which is strange because my Nvidia card has more memory than my laptop's card.

I've also read on the Eidos and Steam forums that a lot of people with Nvidia cards are experiencing crashes and stuttering.
Where can I get a trainer for the game?
anyone?
[sp]I dunno how you guys let Malik die in the first place. Maybe it was the difficulty, but I just had to kill everyone and the robot, and I made it in time. Looking back, not saving her should affect the story quite a bit. She wont come to the rescue or anything...[/sp] Btw, where do I get the preorder stuff again? Like the double-barreled shotgun? I haven't found it anywhere in the game, and in the wiki it says it will be available in the first vendor we see.

I killed only 2 (took a few seconds to backstab and paralyze) when she died. I didn't even have the damn time to save her.[/sp]
Oh bollocks. [sp]The police receptionist just told me that blackmailing him cost him his job. I thought I'd reloaded before doing that, cause I ninja'd around the police station... Guess that's why I wasn't caught. I would work at Sarif Industries because Sarif himself is a boss and I would probably get paid a lot.

I just don't understand why I can't play this game without crashing all the time.
I'm using an HD5850 and it runs just swell. It's very apparent that AMD cards were given preferential treatment with regards to optimisation.
I found the double barreled shit in the Shanghai vendor's stock[sp] (the one in the house where you go to steal the security guy's pass card)[/sp] This pre-order stuff is lame, except the awesome sniper rifle. But it takes a lot of space and makes the first missions too easy, and you can find it later.

Did anything come out of that code in the ticker? If no, can someone direct me to a forum where they're working on decoding it, or at least discussing it?
It's a bit late to fret over it now but, early game spoiler sorta: [sp]Before I left for Hengsha, everyone in Sarif Industries was saying that the police station had had some sort of security breach. I went there to investigate but everything seemed normal. Is there a sidequest there or are they referring to the dozen officers I stashed in a vent?[/sp]
No, this was a question, stop rating me funnies :frown:
Woah, fucking spoiler tag that shit, what the fuck.
Everyone already reached that part and went through it...
There's way too many spoiler tags up in this bitch. I just know something's gonna go wrong. Sad but true fact. I've never finished Deus Ex 1. Gonna get started on that today. I'm 90% certain Deus Ex is better than human contact anyway.
Everyone already reached that part and went through it...
Not me, sigh
Everyone already reached that part and went through it...
uh no not really thanks a lot Also, how the hell do I finish the [sp]Radford[/sp] sidequest? [sp]I went in the storage locker and knocked out all the MIBs, picked up the photo, read the pda and hacked the computer, but it still says theres something else left to do in there.[/sp]
