I successfully did every single persuasion event without acquiring the augment that helps with it, all on my first tries. Honestly, it all seemed like common sense to me. Just look over each option, the most intelligent one is pretty much always the right one. Most of the time, there's one intelligent response and the other two are sappy pleas or outright insults. For example: Option 1: ur a faget Option 2: please dont do this think of the children Option 3: You've failed to take all variables into consideration, your plan won't work the way you want it to. Hmmm, I think option 3 is the best choice. Simple process of elimination got me through every one of those events with ease. Spending points on the aug for that shit is a huge waste.
I dunno, I never went through with the whole persuasion thing, I always used Pheromones.
I thought so at first, but didn't she say she wasn't augmented? That was the most reasonable conclusion I came up with.
No, she said she had brain implants and some other stuff to help her fly.
I thought so at first, but didn't she say she wasn't augmented? That was the most reasonable conclusion I came up with.
She said she has a few augs here and there to make her a better pilot. I have an aug that makes me late.
I have an aug that makes me late.
I have maxed out posting stealth.
I dunno, I never went through with the whole persuasion thing, I always used Pheromones.
You missed out on some of the most awesome moments of the game. Those arguments are the bomb, I got so excited each time one came up. Even though I was confident in my abilities, it still makes your nerves go crazy knowing you can fail. I got all the best results [sp]kept that one guy from killing himself and whatnot[/sp] without them.
BTW, finished the game. Really liked that this game gives you choices that you will actually use. Like that time in [sp] Heng Sha where belltower police are hot on your ass, and some guy tries to bribe you so that he doesn't tell them you're there-I liked how there's the option of "How about I fuck up your shit with my augmented dick" instead of doing another lame sidequest like most games do.[/sp] [editline]30th August 2011[/editline]
[sp]kept that one guy from killing himself and whatnot[/sp]
Was that supposed to be hard? I thought it was really easy. The trick is not to stick to one approach.
[sp]I let Malik die on my second play through because I wanted to see her body in the Harvester's operating room. Also, I didn't realize she could die in two ways. One way is if you try to kill the enemies but are too slow which leads to the helicopter exploding with her in it. The other is if you just go straight to the elevator and once it starts going up, Malik will crawl out of the cockpit, a guy will force her to go on her knees, and then shoots her in the back of the head.[/sp]

It may not alter the end significantly but I like it.[/sp]

Just finished the game. That was pretty awesome. Next playthrough I'm just going to be a stealth bastard and try not to kill anyone.
I use Nvidia on my desktop. But for some reason I can't raise certain settings because it closes my game and tells me an error has occurred and I got to change the settings. Something about not enough memory. Though on my laptop, I have an AMD FirePro and it runs maxed out and it doesn't give me any errors when I bust up the graphics. Which is strange because my Nvidia card has more memory than my laptop's card.
I got the not enough memory error when I tried to put AA to a lower setting. :v:
Got an idea, If I would upload my savefile, before I activate the virus, could someone go through that fucking door for me, save, and send it back to me?
Just finished the game. That was pretty awesome. Next playthrough I'm just going to be a stealth bastard and try not to kill anyone.
Most of the game I was stealthy, that is, until I discovered the power of floor turrets. Seriously, I'll just activate one and drag it with me through the level. That way, I only have to deal with cloaked enemies.
That way, I only have to deal with cloaked enemies.
Wait, there's cloaked enemies in the game? How come I never encountered one on my playtrough? :v: (excluding [sp]bosses[/sp] duh)
Yeah but the woman who voiced Malik is Coffee Cup lady from the Source Code.
That is... Random.
Wait, there's cloaked enemies in the game? How come I never encountered one on my playtrough? :v: (excluding [sp]bosses[/sp] duh)
obviously because they're cloaked :v:
Wait, there's cloaked enemies in the game? How come I never encountered one on my playtrough? :v: (excluding [sp]bosses[/sp] duh)
The not FEMA guys with the helmets that are mostly visor can cloak.
Wait, there's cloaked enemies in the game? How come I never encountered one on my playtrough? :v: (excluding [sp]bosses[/sp] duh)
That really depends how you play. If you were absolutely stealthy, you probably wouldn't encounter them.
Also, [sp]waiting for the slow lift in the picus building[/sp] is easy as hell. I just blocked the doors with heavy objects and went to get a drink while I waited :v:
Also, [sp]waiting for the slow lift in the picus building[/sp] is easy as hell. I just blocked the doors with heavy objects and went to get a drink while I waited :v:
I used an even easier solution. [sp]I found a vent to the right of the elevator and just waited there until Pritchard told me it arrived. When it did, I just used my cloak and slipped past the guards. Didn't have to fire a single shot.[/sp]
When I found that it suddenly clicked with me why [sp]Picus was such a propaganda outlet.[/sp] Plus there's the street preacher that yells about the "machine men" bringing something "grey and deathly".
He goes on to say "..something gray and deadly, on the backs of twelve kings."

It was usually a case of, "emotional attack," "logic," "something else," or some combination like that. The CASIE aug let you read a psyche profile about people and it'd tell you about their tendencies. Like, "cannot be rationalised with when in depressive state, must be forced to confront situation and push through," "must be confronted directly or questions and blame will be deflected onto others." Some people DIDN'T respond too well to the 'logical' choice and instead responded better to the emotional options.
[sp]You can give him a job at Sarif.[/sp]
How? He just attacked me.
The events at [sp]the geoengineering facility creeped me out a little. I mean, they were more or less zombies or at least acted like zombies[/sp]

I am a stealth character, so shooting my way to freedom wasn't an option. So I did the next most logical thing. I blocked all the doors.
