Where can I find a supressor mod in Detroit?
the dealer in the apartments near the basketball court
Is Invisible War worth begging for? It looks pretty cool, and I've heard it's actually good.
I wouldn't say no to a gift.

This happened to me, so I tossed an EMP grenade his way as soon as the fight started, and then threw all the explosives in the area at his face.
What is this Invisible War you are talking about? :tinfoil:
If they ever do a sequel to the original Deus ex I hope they wont call it Invisible War
Speaking of Invisible War, Alex Denton was definitely the best, if not the only good, part of the chat.
In 2027, Adam uncovers the plot of the Illuminati
In 2057, JC stopped MJ12, and the Illuminati
In 2077, Alex is a fucking little shit for brains piece of shit that caused nuclear Armageddon.
In 2277, the Omar walk the waste, but war... war never changes.
Also, this too.

I wonder what "check the ports" mean
that can't possibly mean to actually check the ports does it

Guilty as charged. I was Alex Denton.
Actually, Jensen was in Pritchards Office eating energy bars whilst Sarif and Malik did it doggy style on Sarif's desk.
Athene watched and smiled whilst the duo fucked hard. Taggart walked towards Athene in an attempt to begin sex with her, but he was nothing but a shrewd political operator.
What the fuck did I read.
Gotta love quick saves.
Saving after each stealthy kill.
If I get detected, load.
Peeeeerfect.
Just like playing them old Deus Ex way back.

I'm selling all my shit for this. Need some Deus Ex.
ranking this game no2 on my best games of all time list
no1 being max payne mainly for nostalgia
although on another note, are there any other city hubs than hengsha and detroit? and do I go back to detroit?

HR sadly doesn't even make it on my top 10.
Human Revolution's probably my number 3, after Morrowind and Fallout: New Vegas.

We should totally do another role-play chat once, but with more maturity and less horrible, horrible depravedness.
Just finished it, great game, although [sp]I couldn't find Taggart in Pankhia, I was searching for half an hour but I didn't get to him. So I didn't get his choice on the end, only Sarif's and Darrows. Went for Sarif. The Hyron Boss Battle was kinda disappointing too, not only because it felt like there was no content between Namir and Hyron, but also because it was just shooting three turrets and a few zombified guards. On the Hyron, what the fuck is that even supposed to be? It said it was some supercomputer slaved to human drones. What does that mean? Is it like Eliza, but controlled by the host human (like Zhao was)? And why does it have three girls in it, what is the purpose of that? Beeing creepy? It didn't make sense at all to me, and I was expecting Pankhia to have something more epic in it that that, its a damn hole in the sea, they could've done so much with that. Oh well. Great game nonetheless. [/sp]
I feel like they could have made that part nicer and more monumental then it was aswell. Kinda like the Citadel in HL2. It was pretty cool.
[sp]You were supposed to do this in 3 different ways. Go straight to Zhao with a lazer rifle and shoot her through the glass, go to the life support pods and shoot each person in them and then kill the walking turrent bots and wait for the glass to shatter, or use the master code (if you didn't get it, guess what "year of the apocalypse of the month" is...) to shut down life support and then wait for the glass to shatter. This after destroying the turrents around the generator thingie ofc.[/sp]
1/13/33?
Would this mean a DLC or something that takes place in 2033?
Or maybe 13311 look like BELL
13 = B
3 = E

Does anyone know of any good Youtube to .GIF converters? GIFsoup fucking sucks.

Oh my god their going to incorporate the Canadian monopoly that is BELL into HR. Maybe they'll make everybody pay $2 Per gig in the future.

never played the other deus ex games but i love this one. didn't know it'd be so free roam and feature-full
Does hacking bots/turrets and having them kill enemies count as you killing them? Because I've got through the game without killing anyone so far and I'd like to get the pacifist achievement, but I kinda want to unleash a bot on some unsuspecting goons.

well that is kind of the mantra of the deus ex series. deus ex 1 is even better in terms of player freedom
I just realized the PS3 version doesn't have those little blue remote det charges.
What the fuck I was just about to go on my non-lethal run where I subdue enemies by throwing det charges at their feet and then take the charges back.
I laughed so hard when [sp]after the boss fight with the manits, Eliza says, "Her life signs are fading. Will you save her?"
"I'll think about it."[/sp]
just spent a ton of time translating belltower's javascript because i was bored
[editline]30th August 2011[/editline]
it involved chrome, command prompt, and notepad++
spoilers.
[sp]"JENSEN YOU COULD TOTALLY SAVE HER!!!"[/sp]
[sp]"Nah, too busy with plot exposition to care."[/sp]
Fuck that bitch, after the cutscene I shot her in the head with a shotgun twice to make sure she was dead.
Ugh, Namir is a ridiculously hard fight. Especially if, like me, you've specialised completely in stealth and the only lethal weapon you have is a pistol.
