I completely forgot to save the hosties in the first mission. Is there anything in the leak that can help me redeem myself? :saddowns:

Two questions to those who played the leak, how much of the game is covered in the leak? And based on your experience how does the game hold up the Deus Ex 1?

Also, I feel that the game is much deeper than the first. The characters feel more fleshed out than the first one's. The first one has the most charm but the third one feels more complete, in terms of story and gameplay.

I've only played to the second mission and it pretty much guaranteed my pre-order. Pretty much, it is better than Deus Ex but it'll never match it in pure nostalgia/charm. [editline]21st July 2011[/editline]
Some guys say 1/5th
Either way, it is long as hell, especially compared to games nowadays.
Didn't one of DX designers said that if you want to complete all missions and sidequests, it should be around 40 hours, but if you just skim through it, it's about 20 hours. Or something along those lines. That explains the 1/3 - 1/5 numbers

This video is awesome
Anyone know how to upgrade hacking capture software or w/e it's called?
Not sure how long you will return to Detroit after the last leak mission, but generally Ive heard that Detroit and Heng Sha are the two main hub levels, and the rest of the game is made up of a series of smaller (Still non Linear) levels. I know for a fact that Philadelphia and Montreal will be locations. The Leak was great, a worthy successor to Deus Ex Easily. Not getting into the which is better argument.

Is anybody else annoyed by how bright characters and NPCs look in darker areas? The brightness of those models do not change at all in accordance to the lighting conditions.

Spekter is gone...where are you man?
