Throw gas/emp grenades, aim for head with pistol (I hope you upgraded it), win

typhoon

Every single upgrade I've found I've applied to the pistol. Not that I've used it for anything but boss fights.
the revolver is awesome
I love the explosive upgrade, it's so OP I kill everyone with one shot

Hence why I ditched my non-lethals as soon as the plant mission was over for a 10mm, a combat rifle and a sniper.
Coolest weapons IMO are those I just said, plus the revolver, which is probably the best overall (good and cool looking)
Also, TIP: get a 10mm, upgrade it to the max, peek-a-boo shots around corners aiming at people's heads = headshot and dead.
Kinda makes the game very easy because you go into cover, aim at their heads and jump out fast just to slip a bullet into their skulls with minimal noise and no waste of bullets.

I used the grenade launcher and completed it in 4 seconds.

Exactly, and it looks awesome on the frame. I wonder how it works though. It seems that it fires a bullet and then it either fires an explosive propelant or the bullet fired blows up in them.
Anyway, great gun to fuck up people and bots.
So I just [sp]crash landed[/sp] in hengsha, when Mailk says [sp]"just a scratch, but I think you're on your own now", does that mean she died?[/sp] I sniped pretty much every soldier in the face but the mech is out of my throwing range

He was rather easy with an almost fully upgraded combat rifle. Kind of dissapointing but, oh well.
Fedorova and Barret put more of a fight. With Namir was just cover and shoot around the corner. He stopped on another end of the room to try and hit me.

[sp]She's alive, and you can save her. But you have to take down everything in the area before 'x' amount of damage is done to the bird or she will die.[/sp]
I used the grenade launcher and completed it in 4 seconds.
I dropped the grenade launcher because it was making my stun gun and PEPS feel insecure.
Seriously though the whole rest of the game is completable purely through stealth/non lethal means, whoever designed these contrived, stupid boss fights should be punched in the mouth.

Get closer.
Or better yet, kill the bot first, and then kill the guards. Their pretty blind at that range and use cover to your advantage.
also stun gun is the best weapon, followed by PEPS
while they're basically the only weapons I've used they're still the best

what the christ, you can [sp]save malik?[/sp] I was trying to sneak past them because I stood no chance against them in a straight fight when the [sp]helicopter blew up[/sp], and when [sp]I found her dead in the harvester base afterwards I almost shed a tear, she was one of the only truly good characters in the game. Plus I think her and jensen could have got a thing going.[/sp]
typhoon
Didn't have any use for it since I specialised in nonlethal/stealth.
the dealer in the apartments near the basketball court
The gas station one? Or the two idiots that I killed for that one side quest, or is he somewhere else?

As did i, both playthroughs have been pure stealth but i've alwats gotten typhoon purely for bossfights, its amazingly powerful.

[sp]Yep, there is an achievement for it and everything. She died the first time it happened to me too but I promptly reloaded and tried again, something about the way she tells Jensen to leave led me to believe that there was a way to get her out alive. It's quite difficult if you don't have an EMP mine/grenade though as that bot is a bitch.[/sp]
Well, I got past that terminal that was giving me so much shit. It's still bullshit though, I had it so that each node only had 15% detection chance and it was STILL detecting me on the first nodes
luckily I found a stash of like 6 nuke softwares in the sewers, so I just used every single one of them I had. I also realized that upgrading your hack stealth is great, now I can just overtake every node in the screen without being caught, and get like 2 hacking software disks per hack
Welp, just finished. [sp]In the final level, the crazies reminded me a lot of L4D. As for the endings, I think the self-destruct and Taggart ones are pretty good. Self-destruct seems canonical, though.[/sp]
I thought the references were nicely done. [sp]I was happy to see the vending machine and skull-gun references.[/sp] The spam emails were a nice touch too.
I've gotta say, it's one of the best games I've ever played. I hope to see some DLC and mod tools in the future.
What a game.
Well I just finished [sp] I chose the self destruct ending, I felt it was the best way to advance humanity. Also, when you crash land in Hengsha and Malik can die, I was almost shedding manly tears. Anyone else think Malik was way better than Megan was? If her and Adam would've gotten together as an ending I would have chosen that. :([/sp]
Holy shit, there was an actual, in-character, mature conversation in the chat room. What is this nonsense?
I call it;
Shrewd Political Operation.
Was anyone as mad as I was when you found out that [sp]the newscaster lady (I think her name was eliza) was just a computer hologram?[/sp]
I was like GODDAMNIT.
You know what is brilliant? Steal stuff from the offices around Sarif, later on if you check your office PC, get your inbox spammed with "Jensen PLEASE investigate these office thefts, Sally came to me in tears about being blamed for them!! Her room code is XXXX"
:v: Little do they know who the person was "investigating" their office door security systems earlier

I don't really like the interactions (or lack thereof) between NPCs and Jensen in the game. I went into some guy's apartment and stole some stuff when he was right there and he didn't do anything, not even when I went up and talked to him.

Jensen's newfound lack of fingerprints helps him.

also for some reason I installed the biochip at the clinic in heng sha, worst thing is I thought it was incredibly suspicious but thought you had to do it so I got it installed anyway
Fucking christ that was the hardest moral choice at the end of any game, ever.
I still don't know which one I should've chosen.
How do I activate my manual skills.
Such as the silent running.

So it was Jensen who broke into my office! I knew it! Pritchard better come up with a level 6 security system or I'm camping in my office tonight.
