Didn't one of DX designers said that if you want to complete all missions and sidequests, it should be around 40 hours, but if you just skim through it, it's about 20 hours.
Or something along those lines.
That explains the 1/3 - 1/5 numbers
I take 2 days to beat cod in novice (come at me cod veteran speedrunners)
I like to take my time. AKA...
Barret: "YOU WILL FINISH THIS GAME!"
Me: "I'll never get to its end!"
But new hacking stuff!
Ohh shit, awesome. Anyone watched the secret movie yet?
Sorry if I'm late, but all of the audio files are titled laz_(number).
Anyone else think that this refers to the conspiracy theorist radio host lazarus from the game?

It's what they want you to think.
I just realized that when you click them it says lazarus.
:downs:
Sweet, Bladerunner's on TV!
Has anyone noticed this easy way to kill [sp]Simons[/sp] in the [sp]ocean lab[/sp]?
All you have to do is activate your running enhancement, turn on the electricity (MAKE SURE HE IS NOT WITHIN TALKING DISTANCE!!!), lure him onto the railroad while staying at a non-talking distance, circle around the back (Hehehehe) from the left, fire 2 pistol shots at him (At the Advanced skill specifically), and then one-shot him anywhere with the rail gun.

I fucked him up with circle strafe and the Dragon's Tooth.

I tried to do that 5 times and got raped by his plasma instantly with several defensive augs on.
Eventually I got tired, did the technique I described and killed him in one try.
I should mention I broke both my legs doing it, but it was worth it.
Shifter made Simon kinda tough with that plasma rifle. Sawed off Shotgun to the head a few times is how I do it.

So thats why I got instakilled by him at full health.
Also, it is worth mentioning the Rail Gun is a shifter weapon. Not saying where it is located, but it's lack of ammo is made up for by it's power.

I just activated my max level regeneration aug and the recirculator aug and then stood there shooting him with my pistol until he died.

I just used the recirculator, and combat strength. Worked pretty damn well considering I didn't lose any health.
Is Invisible War worth playing? I picked it up during sales a while ago and never bothered playing it, mainly because I heard it wasn't very good.
I picked up Invisible War a long time ago as well. I tried to get into it recently since Deus Ex: Human Revolution is coming, but dear god it was bad. WHY WOULD THEY MAKE A UI LIKE THAT.

The word atrocity used to be reserved for things like the Holocaust. I hate word inflation.

He looks like that man who wears a baggy trenchcoat to make himself look bigger than he really is.

I'm going to assume that this is a 10-year-old trying to sounds smart, because that what it sounds like.

I remember people bitching that AA3 was going to be on Steam.
Just ignore the fuckwit.
And now people are bitching because Bf3 wont be on steam. '
'
Make up your minds, dammit!
honestly, any game shouldn't force a steam install, regardless of how good steam is
I agree. Personally, I like my retail copy coming up on my Steam library. I do see however where the simple PC gamer just wants to get to his game and skip the platform (even though I'm sure the majority of PC gamers are on Steam already)
It should be optional with every game save for a Valve title.
besides origin, that shit is actually bad
Are you another one of those bandwagon people?

Are you implying that he's not right?
I've never had problems with origin
I've never had problems with origin
Origin does what it says on the tin; it's a download manager.
But let's not get into all that, I've tried to inform people in other threads about Origin and let's just say it's hard work.

The console version is more expensive than the PC version.
It's like that for every game.
The only download manager that made me want to tear my hair out was GMG's Capsule. Jesus christ it is fucking terrible
