Ironsights are the middle mouse button. I went through my first playthrough thinking that there were none, until I looked at the controls. I ended up never using them though, shooting from cover is much more efficient, in basically every situation.
I know. I used them loads in my first playthrough. Doesn't seem to be working on hard... Is that just me? [editline]1st September 2011[/editline] Well, my game crashed... When I got back in, I have crosshairs and ironsights. Guess my game just bugged up.
But it's annoying as hell when I want to switch my weapon and I have to go to the inventory and equip it.
Yarr, unfortunately there's nothing to do but sit and wait untill Eidos comes up with something, although it does add a different kind of immersion to the game.
But it's annoying as hell when I want to switch my weapon and I have to go to the inventory and equip it.
Toolbelt it?
I have heard that some very weak jokes have originated here.
But it's annoying as hell when I want to switch my weapon and I have to go to the inventory and equip it.
Have you tried updating your drivers ? messing with ambient occlusion, AA and Post processing ? And what's your graphics card ? I had a similar problem, does it show the Press E to read, inventory, E-papers and shit like that ?
So uh, I bought the Augmented version off of steam awhile back, just found out how to get the additional content but lo and behold there's none of the additional mission or other weapons to buy (automatic unlocker and other stuff.) What do.

Steam just gave out copies of the original. The AE itself never included the DLC. DLC was for pre-orders.

I found a half life reference, has it been posted? It is worded nearly identical to the tram announcement at the beginning of HL1. [t]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/542904147778012243/51044CA23A0111736AC18BE8EED282CDCC8A0712/[/t]
Toolbelt it?
Doesn't work since the toolbar becomes unusable.
Have you tried updating your drivers ? messing with ambient occlusion, AA and Post processing ? And what's your graphics card ? Plus I found a "fix".. Make a new game. Oh well, I wasn't that far into the game to begin with anyway. Hopefully there's a real fix eventually.
Human Revolution will have DLC?????????????????
Aren't there a lot of things that become relevant later on?
It was referencing [sp]the e-book in the very first room of the game about 'Patient X' which makes Megan nervous when you find it, because Patient X is you[/sp] I didn't read it the first time [editline]1st September 2011[/editline]
Human Revolution will have DLC?????????????????
I hear they are going to add a "Sarif Co. Store"

Your future depends on it."
I noticed in my runs that there is no AUD or URDEDs. Did they get removed in console versions?
I noticed in my runs that there is no AUD or URDEDs. Did they get removed in console versions?
Probably not, you just didn't get the preorder bonus for whatever reason/
Probably not, you just didn't get the preorder bonus for whatever reason/
Oh, I was under the impression they were PC exclusive, due to the need for more inputs then controllers have. I was hoping to do a pacifist run where all I do is through URDEDs at people's feet, take it back, and run past them. [editline]1st September 2011[/editline] And before you ask, my preorder has the tac enhance pac. [editline]1st September 2011[/editline] Just sayin' this, I would be surprised, knowing Square Enix, if they ended up turning DX into essentially a sci-fi FF clone.
Anyone here thinks that the melee could had been a weapon itself, instead of showing an animation?
Anyone here thinks that the melee could had been a weapon itself, instead of showing an animation?
Keep takedowns the way they are, but they should of had melee weapons too, like B-ball bats. Although refrigerators and dumpsters seem to have taken the place of melee weapons.
Anyone here thinks that the melee could had been a weapon itself, instead of showing an animation?
I wish there was a choice between the animation and bashing people silly. Seriously, I think a lack of melee weapons is one of the only flaws of the game.
are there any other.. ways... to acquire this preorder pack?
I think G2Play is selling a key for the explosive mission pack. Not sure where you can find the tactical one.
Anyone got a working trainer, tried cheat engine but it seemed to break the game after so many load screens :v:
I honestly didn't enjoy deus ex but holy Christ hr is my goty ( sky rim still isn't out so who knows)
HEY GUYS where does jensen keep his weapons? IN HANZERSPACE
I just finished the game, it owned lots. I was expecting more DX1 references and cameos though, like maybe revisting one of the levels or seeing Liberty Island or some shit. Also the lack of a ~deep philosophical quote~ at the end made me sad.

Late

The main difference between the dumbing down from DX1, between IW and HR is that IW went too far and put nothing new or interesting in it's place, whilst HR added onto something else for everything that was dumbed down. IW got rid of skills and multiple paths. HR got rid of skills again, and put a new augmentation system in it's place, along with a redone hacking system, and a better way to use grenades. And don't forget the smarter AI that doesn't just bumrush the player followed by an untactical, unintelligent retreat (Like DX1) or just stand still (IW), but instead takes cover, and makes tactical team based decisions when advancing or retreating. [editline]1st September 2011[/editline] Only thing I miss about IW was the ability to respec and that you could be a packrat about everything.
Everyone keeps saying smarter AI. Yes this is true. But the AI still isnt smart. I can kill a man then walk behind a box 3 feet away and they wont bother to check.
