Everyone keeps saying smarter AI. Yes this is true. But the AI still isnt smart. I can kill a man then walk behind a box 3 feet away and they wont bother to check.
AI coding isn't exactly the easiest task, and incase you don't know they do try to set off alarms if they see a body and there is an available alarm. It would take awhile of coding to make it so they responded to cumulative bodies. And the only reason guards noticed others missing in MGS2 was because of a system that checked if an NPC was in a certain state every so often. So even if a guard didn't cross another's path they would still alert the guard was missing.
I know they try to set off alarms its just embarrassing they only check maybe 5 feet around the dead guy instead of even looking behind obvious hiding spots.
Personally IRL I would only check the immediate area, and then GTFO to alert others. When your instinct is general safety, it wouldn't really be a good idea to bring yourself right to the guy who just killed your superior. Also, speaking of superiors, I thought the commanding units are supposed to be identifiable. Everyone looks the same and I don't know who the unit leaders are.

Personally I would instead scream to any nearby guards going. "Holy shit they shot phil sound the alarm spread out!"
Got the [sp]Namir boss, yeah, I die too quickly, don't have a rocket launcher with me to eliminate him easily[/sp] I doubt using CQC would be a great idea. Possibily should just jump and run away and shoot him in the head multiple times could work. Wish the cheats would work, and those Eidiots didn't put in cheats.
I wish there was a choice between the animation and bashing people silly. Seriously, I think a lack of melee weapons is one of the only flaws of the game.
Melee weapons would be pretty much pointless because you die so quickly when in the open. I think the stealth kill key works fine
Melee weapons would be pretty much pointless because you die so quickly when in the open. I think the stealth kill key works fine
I just don't like using battery power. Those energy bars are pretty rare near the end of the game and ammo for the non-lethal weapons is nearly non-existent near the end.
[sp]Were the Dentons created using Adam's DNA? Plus was that Morgan Everett that Page was talking to at the end, since he was talking to a Morgan, and it states in a email back in Montreal that Morgan Everett is the CEO of Picus?[/sp]
HEY GUYS where does jensen keep his weapons? IN HANZERSPACE
his butt is augmented to have luggage space

All the trainers do is crash the game or don't work, trying to do this to avoid being ass raped by [sp]Namir[/sp]
[sp]I think everyone that uses nano-augs has some kind of gene therapy based off Adam's DNA[/sp]
you should probably spoiler tag that

Also, a question. If you throw an object at someone, does it kill them or knock them out? I'm hoping I didn't fuck my non-lethal playthrough by throwing that dumpster.
you should probably spoiler tag that
Thanks for the heads up

I thought in Area 51, there was a growth tube thing for both Paul and JC, and their DNA sample was from an anonymous person. I'll give it a quick load and check.
Paul was born through IVF JC is a clone of Paul and was implanted in the womb
Ah, I thought they were both genetically engineered. Plus the tube says Alex Denton, not Paul. I should probably give it a second playthrough and be more thorough looking for plot elements.
Only until last week, I thought Adam Jensen and JC Denton were of the same person
it kills them
Well fuck. I'm in Hengsha and don't really want to start the game all over again.
Only until last week, I thought Adam Jensen and JC Denton were of the same person
How? Denton doesn't talk like he has throat cancer.
I've never played the first Deus Ex
Oh Christ, I just realised HOW MANY of the emails in Deus Ex were references to the Tram Ride in HL1.
Just finished up the game. It certainly ranks highly among my favorite games. Also, I like the surprise at the end of the credits.
Shanghai Justice is completely broken. I get to Lee's apartment, I'm doing a playthrough without hacking. Can't hack the door, so I blow it open with a grenade. But I can't hack the computer inside, and there is no password. Apparently this applies for a level 3 terminal at the end of it, too. If you're telling me to upgrade my hacking - it's not really Deus Ex if there's only one way to do something. Oh wow it actually shows up when you're posting from the steam browser, neat
I need a save point right after defeating [sp]Namir[/sp] so I can put in the steam directly. k thx. Only wish I had a grenade launcher, would be much better.
Anybody know of a good trainer? Already beat the game, wouldn't mind playing around with some of the settings. sobeit's one on page 157 didn't work for me, as soon as I activated something the game and the trainer would both close instantly.

Aw shit. After restarting the entire campaign several times due to my awful luck at autosaves and glitches where the nonlethal weapons somehow kill people I finally got to [sp]the part where I get shot down in china[/sp] I want to save [sp]malik[/sp], but I have no idea how to knock out those dudes before [sp]the helicopter explodes[/sp] especially since I don't have any EMP grenades to take out that bot.
So what was the outcome of that brief ARG that started on the 29th?
