Are you sure it wasn't a one way path between you and the red node? A lot of the times there is.
Egh, maybe. I'll have to double check after my Chinese class. I could swear there were a few instances where there was a bi-directional bridge but I couldn't touch the red node.
Umm what the fuck how old is he
He's like 34 in the game but he was born in 1993.
He's like 34 in the game but he was born in 1993.
I'm 30 in 2027 and he is 4 years older than me.I think thats about right
Challenge: Kill everyone with Fire Extinguishers. Actually, its a really good weapon. If you wait till enemy gets closed, shoot it, they cough, take em down. Or throw it like a grenade.
I went through this whole game without realising you could bypass lasers by turning on cloak...
I went through my whole first playthrough not knowing how to disable mines. I just threw barrels at them and set off a chain reaction.
Hm. Whoever said you could capture the red nodes in the hacking mini-game was either lying or didn't tell me how I could. Even when undetected, I could never really capture the red node no matter how many times I tried. Maybe it's possible in a different game version? :c
It's possible, but there's often (and I mean most of the time) a one way bridge from the firewall/hunter thing to the node it's connected to. I only really noticed that it was possible about 3/4s through the game. Loads of stuff I didn't know though - the game was intent on letting me know that I could find nutrients to replenish my energy. (I only used my cloaking aug and melee moves, so I didn't need much energy - 7 secs is enough) It really needs different tips as it progresses - I know about the fucking energy bars after the first 6 times, let me know more about certain augs or something... Also, turrets are totally amazing once they're on your side... [sp]especially the one I used to stomp the third boss[/sp]

[sp]In the Namir battle, there's that secret way of instantly winning by punching Namir when he jumps down from a wall. What I want to know: is it a glitch or not? Because Namir is meant to be the best at CQC, he even does a crazy instakill on you if you try to takedown him too late, and the punch just looks like the default takedown animation for normal NPCs.[/sp]

What the fuck you can bypass lasers with cloak? Got dammit.
I tried that, but [sp]poor Sammy Turret The Fourth (PHD. Bullets) totally glitched out and started firing randomly at the air and at statues.[/sp]
Mine was a bit iffy, but once I started firing [sp]at the boss[/sp], it started shooting him too. It's pretty specific - it has to look directly at the target. Was pretty funny, though I was asking myself if it was technically cheating to have the foresight to lug it around.
Oh wow, I just realized I could pick up turrets and throw them. Time to fuck shit up.
I think that [sp]Sarif's ending leads onto the events that happen in Deus Ex.[/sp]
I think that [sp]Sarif's ending leads onto the events that happen in Deus Ex.[/sp]
[sp]Nah its more like Taggarts as augmentation is phased out as the only people who have it are UNATCO operatives and thugs and the illuminati were never uncovered.[/sp]
Do I have to [sp]save Malik[/sp] in a pacifist playthrough?
So I came to think of this reference [sp]After the Picus Communication's when Adam finds out Eliza Cassan is an AI. This game got quite a few references.[/sp]
Do I have to [sp]save Malik[/sp] in a pacifist playthrough?
Don't think so.
Don't think so.
But it makes him a heartless bastard, how can you call yourself a pacifist after that? [editline]1st September 2011[/editline] That should be an Achievement too "Heartless Bastard"
Not sure if this podcast was posted before, but have a listen: EMP Ep. 1: The audio of Deus Ex: Human Revolution [editline]1st September 2011[/editline] Did you know that The Hive club music was originally used in the Hengsha Hotel?
I played a few missions with a trainer, and now I feel dirty and want to start the game again. I'm just going back to [sp]Hengsha[/sp] how far from the end am I?

I'm just going back to [sp]Hengsha[/sp] how far from the end am I?
As in the bit where [sp] Malik's shot down[/sp]? If so, you're pretty close - I'd say a good 6/7 hours, if you take it slowly.
