Hmmm I think I'm going to challenge myself even more and do a "don't touch anyone except for bosses" run. Cloak and inventory space for chocolate all day erry day
uh... that's just... wrong. You either weren't listening or you're confusing him with a certain Mr. H.
[sp]Uh, no, Taggart is also Illuminati and they were behind the chip as a form of control, then Darrow betrayed them and used the chips as he intended: to fuck shit up completely. Taggart even mentions his brother (i think), how accidents like these (the shootout) could be avoided by using the kill-switch on the new chips.[/sp] [sp]So Taggart basically thinks it's justified to install those chips against people's will to keep them in line, that would lead to an entire population on their feet when they could simply shut down any kind of revolt. It might not be Taggart's intent, but it sure was the other member's intent, something like that would obviously be misused.[/sp]

Completed the game on release date, and have to say... Wow. Best game I've played in ages, though I was annoyed by the ending a bit. On my second playthrough now. Going for a completionist-style run.
Are there any other achievements that aren't listed before you get them besides "Old School Gamer" that you get by [sp]inspecting all the little objects in Megan's office in the beginning[/sp]?
Did anyone notice how EVERYONE somehow got there hands on Jensen's frequency. Are you telling me Sarif Industries is suppose to have top-notch cyber security?
I think its fucking hilarious, especially since by the time its the end of the game Jensen clearly has a voice of irritation when he says "HOW DID YOU GET THIS FREQUENCY?!!" Which makes it even sweeter when [sp]Tong just sarcastically says its a chinese secret[/sp]
are you talking about [sp]Isaias Sandoval[/sp]?
Not sure, i only played through this once, [sp]but i do remember taggart saying something, that changed my mind about him being the best ending.[/sp]

I didn't want to [sp]Kill Zeke and his brother in the apartment so thanks to EMP shielding i used non-lethal weapons for that entire part, felt good[/sp] And "I never asked for this" is only good when it's used in the right place and time.
Also Every time I knocked someone out then another guy would walk in and be like "OH GOD A BODY" until all the guards were knocked out
oh my god jc a body *whap* [editline]2nd September 2011[/editline]
I didn't want to [sp]Kill Zeke and his brother in the apartment so thanks to EMP shielding i used non-lethal weapons for that entire part, felt good[/sp] And "I never asked for this" is only good when it's used in the right place and time.
It was good, but then the internet decided to shoot it everywhere. Now its up there with 'cake is a lie' and 'nope.avi'

I played too much and now "human" arms just seem weird to me. What a shame we don't have augmentations in this day and age.
I played too much and now "human" arms just seem weird to me. What a shame we don't have augmentations in this day and age.
We do. They just aren't like the types you see in HR ie: capable of lifting several hundred pounds with ease [sub]they're called bionics[/sub]
We do. They just aren't like the types you see in HR. [sub]they're called bionics[/sub]
[sub]well they're not up to par with the tech of the Deus Ex universe[/sub] And you'd think this was investigated into more.
[sub]well they're not up to par with the lore of the Deus Ex universe[/sub]
[sub][sub]I know. Which is why I said they aren't capable of HR abilities, but we have them[/sub][/sub]
Haha oh wow. Probably late, but I did find a Nigerian Scam email
[sub]well they're not up to par with the tech of the Deus Ex universe[/sub] And you'd think this was investigated into more.
Investigated as in creating bionic limbs like the Deus Ex universe? Or any sci-fi? Well I did a research paper on bionics once and they've come quite a long way from simple plastics to motorized joints with sleek design (Look up Power Foot One and the iLimb). They're working on a arm bionic that allows the user to lift up to 90 lbs, which is quite a feat since bionics aren't really made for super lifting. But uh, to get to HR level, you'd need to augment everything for a single limb to do anything major. Maybe not stuff like neural enhancements, but lifting and stuff needs a totally new body since normal bones would probably be crushed under the intense pressure. Probably late, but I did find a Nigerian Scam email
there are like 20 of those bastards in the game fuck off nigeria this is the future
I can't play this game so much now that I started college again :( I'm at Omega Ranch. I hope there are plenty of more hours left in the game
Hey, does anyone know how to scan a QR code from an existing image? I found this in a cutscene and I wish to scan it:
Omega Ranch is my favourite level.
Someone already did and it brought them to wikipedia.
That's strange. I'd like to check it for myself, though.
This might be just me, but for anyone here who has religiously played the Dystopia mod for HL2... did anyone else see the uncanny resemblences between the Panchea starting area and the starting area for Dys_Silo from Dystopia? The vents access, the pathway to the left that require jumping augs to reach... Pretty awesome! Obviously they are different enough to not be straight copies but it seemed really similar and tickled a little bit of nostalgia for me :) Sorry I don't have a pic. Really hard to find a good picture of the entrance to Dys_Silo online :(
Am I the only one who has seen this? http://steamcommunity.com/id/newtee/screenshot/578932219591373314 Sarif has a 4 year degree in criminal justice... what?

No... Eidios was just too lazy to make a degree for sarif.
