After replaying the game, I must say Pritchard is the weirdest character in a long time. He looks like motorbike count Dracula and his voice sounds strange. I admit he is unique but I can't take him as a tech expert seriously.
Prickchard doesn't do his job as network security admin properly. Can't take him serious.
Apparently it kills people if you shoot them while they're sat down. I gave up on finding that Warrior Priest quest, currently in the shipyard. I'll get it on my 3rd runthrough. Also, I love how many hidden achievements this game has. Just little things, I figured I'd get the Social Aug and I got an achievement for using it and learning an insignificant amount of knowledge about the [sp]Hyron Project[/sp]
Just tested this, yeah, it seems to kill if they're in a 'resting' kind of state, like leaning on something. But it still awards the merciful soul bonus, not sure if it counts against pacifist. Guess I'll just have to play through it again :v:
Wait what was the surprise on the 29th?
Wait what was the surprise on the 29th?
Apparently it'll be a DLC taking place late game on that boat. I read that as a rumor on some site so I'm not sure.
what was the [sp]hangar 18[/sp] achievement about
[sp]name of the user is mstain as in David Mustaine, the singer of Megadeth. Hanger 18 is a song by them. So its just a nice easter egg[/sp]
Did anyone else get[sp]extremely suspicious if not convinced Eliza wasn't a real person when her office number was 404? Little things like that make me love this game even more than I do already.[/sp]
[sp]I laughed when you had to go to room 802-11, which is actually 802.11, a commercial wireless network frequency commonly used.[/sp] :v:

Not only that but the quest updated with a green tick next to where it said to knock him out.
Tranq kills people if shot to the head.
Tranqs to the head just drop them faster. Even awards you the Marksman bonus experience. Useful for taking down Heavies.

She has that creepy robot voice about her.[/sp]

Not only that but the quest updated with a green tick next to where it said to knock him out.
Actually you snapped his bodyguards neck and knocked [sp]Double T[/sp] out at the same time. This happened to me, too. After double checking what just happened I found his bodyguard dead and him knocked out.

I could have sworn I checked the bodies and found him dead because I decided to reload to my save JUST before breaking the wall down and decided to go in through the door instead (so I wouldn't kill him).
Hey guys, I know this isn't the best place but could you tell me whats the best graphical mod for Deus Ex 1 if there is one? Thanks!
Has anyone else been having this annoying bug where missions randomly fail when you create or load a save?
Am I the only one who likes Sarif's Right Hand? It's fucking encrusted.
I've just done all the endings and have realized something: [sp]When you pick one of the three recordings and confirm your choice, Eliza Cassan says "So be it" and I feel she almost sounds disappointed, but when you pick to give humanity the choice she says it was a pleasure working with adam sounding pleased with the outcome. Or it could just be her wishing Adam farewell[/sp]
After you first meet [sp]Zhao and she gets into her panic room, go downstairs to the room with the 2 bots, and search around. There's a high level panel in the area that you need to hack and it's basically info related to the ARG[/sp]
uhm no it's [sp]in the hangar after you rescue megan, to the left after you've pressed the the button to open the hangar doors. [/sp] i wasn't asking where it was
[sp]name of the user is mstain as in David Mustaine, the singer of Megadeth. Hanger 18 is a song by them. How do I get over [sp]those electric cables, on the way to the back of the police station for M5[/sp]
How do I get over [sp]those electric cables, on the way to the back of the police station for M5[/sp]
There are several. You can either [sp] lift boxes to jump over the fence next the police station [/sp] or [sp] Exit out a vent or door found in the police station[/sp] or [sp] Find a way through the sewers [/sp] or [sp] Get the electrical resistance augmentation[/sp]
How do I get over [sp]those electric cables, on the way to the back of the police station for M5[/sp]
There's an augmentation which gives resistence from EMP grenades. I found it pretty useful !
It's weird that you can only do lethal wall punches. I know your punching through a fucking wall, but, Jensen has a moment before he reaches over and gives the guy the augment to examine the back of his shirt.
There's an augmentation which gives resistence from EMP grenades. I found it pretty useful !
This. [sp]Especially during the 2nd and 4th boss fights.[/sp] Also, at the [sp]Penthouse ambush level[/sp] - Easy solution to it? While they're all standing around in a circle being briefed, a single gas grenade in the middle of them will knock out almost all of them, except for maybe one or two who can be picked off quickly. While they're hostile they'll ignore the bodies and won't try to wake them up, so if you're fast you can take out the last stragglers before they lose interest.
EMP/Electric shelding, gas immunity, flash resistant eyes. In reality the Stealth aug is worthless if you look at the radar and dont go flying out of doors like you own the place. I learned this the hard way, so I didn't take it this time around. All I need now are my battery regen augs and I'll have a nice set. [editline]2nd September 2011[/editline]
This. [sp]Especially during the 2nd and 4th boss fights.[/sp] Also, at the [sp]Penthouse ambush level[/sp] - Easy solution to it? It was a few seconds before they ALL woke up. Still got the experience for it though, so it wasn't too bad![/sp]
So I'm in [sp]Hengsha for the second time and there's all that talk about "The Glitch" that's affecting anyone with augmentations and everyone with augs is being told to report to L.I.M.B. clinics to replace some chip. Only thing is I'm incredibly paranoid that it's a conspiracy but on the other hand I'm afraid not replacing the chip will end with me dead or something like that.[/sp] I have no idea what I should do!

Damn, if they only made a new game for Oni, I'd be fucking ecstatic. Since they already made one for Deus Ex. Too bad they fucked up Red Alert, fuckers.
just completed it, chose [sp]sarif's ending[/sp], got the foxiest achievement but not pacifist because i threw [sp]chan off the building[/sp] in hengsha. i think i'll do another run when there's a trainer to let you fully recharge all batteries instead of just one.
