GTX570 = 250 EUR ~ 360 USD = 6x $60 console games, so nope
You don't need that kinda gpu if you're playing games that exist across multiple platforms, look at crysis 2.
GTX570 = 250 EUR ~ 360 USD = 6x $60 console games, so nope
You can probably max out most games with a 460.
Seriously shut up about which is cheaper. You're making me lose wood.
You can probably max out most games with a 460.
If you don't care about DX10/11, you can max out almost anything with 250 GTS.
You can probably max out most games with a 460.
I can attest to this. A few games stutter a bit at full but other than that I can run basically anything maxed at 1920x1080.
Do you think a Radeon HD 5750 will be enough for this game? Every other part of my computer is beefy as fuck so I'm not worried about that
Do you think a Radeon HD 5750 will be enough for this game? Every other part of my computer is beefy as fuck so I'm not worried about that
I have the same thing and it runs fine.
Been staying off this thread to make the wait shorter (and it worked, time flew by almost too fast), but I just found the Purity First video and damn that was good, there were some actually good points although the "keep your humanity don't turn into a machine" shit is still stupid This is probably the only game I'm allowing myself to be excited over this year The leak was the best thing to happen to this game really, I had my doubts before but it turned out to be brilliant.
It's pretty much one month until we all finally get to play this game. I cannot WAIT.
I have the same thing and it runs fine.
Near-constant 60FPS fine?
ITT: Unrelated shit. Last I checked Deus Ex wasn't a PC specs app.
ITT: Unrelated shit. Last I checked Deus Ex wasn't a PC specs app.
cause there's no way people would want to check if they can run the game in this thread that is NOT allowed by order of certified sieg heil [editline]26th July 2011[/editline] in all seriousness though, some of us aren't willing to play the leak and we'd like to know how it will hold up, I agree that unrelated PC specs stuff is off topic but come on, being able to actually play the game solidly is relevant
My 460GTX and X4 955 Phenom II ran the game on all high at 1600x900 at a constant 60+ FPS on the leak. Considering the end game will be more optimized, I'd say whatever you have is gonna be decent
I have a laptop and I run that shit lowest, 1366x720 on 60fps, you stationary gamers should be able to max that bad boy.
I've carried lebedev's body all the way back to the MJ-12 Secret Base. If I can, I'll see if I can take Paul's body to Paris.
I just [sp]blew up Agent Navarre with a GEP Gun after she asked me to kill Lebedev.[/sp] Was that a bad thing?
I just [sp]blew up Agent Navarre with a GEP Gun after she asked me to kill Lebedev.[/sp] Was that a bad thing?
Exactly what I did, only with less GEP gun.
Sorry if this is late but theres a really good deal for human revolution on greenmangaming, which activates on steam. Its $36 dollars now but with this voucher code FACEB-JULY4-20PEC the price drops down to about $28.80. http://www.greenmangaming.com/games/rpgs/deus-ex-human-revolution/

Also, since DX:HR is a Steamworks game they will send you the key to redeem on Steam.
2nd page, what a shame.

[editline]26th July 2011[/editline] bought [editline]26th July 2011[/editline] How long does it take for you to get the mail from GMG, by the way? Or won't I receive that until later, at release?

Oh yes indeed. Funny enough, I'm drinking orange soda too.

In shock, I state after the fact that there is an explosive device.
I never asked for this.
Someone should put the Inspector Gadget intro to the DXHR trailer audio [editline]27th July 2011[/editline] or vice versa, fuck that'd be funny
It's gone gold.
Humans! The promised day has arrived. Some said it wasn’t possible. Some said rude, badly-spelled things in capital letters. Others were simply impatient. No matter: it has happened. Deus Ex: Human Revolution, the third game in the series that has an awful lot to do with why an awful lot of us remain faithful, unswervingly loyal PC gamers to do this day, has gone gold. And I’m not just talking about its colour pallete. It is finished, Eidos Montreal have just revealed. Complete. Ready. Well, ready as it’ll ever be – and that means its release date on August 23 is actually happening. And that means, hopefully, it’ll be in our hands soon. Here’s a quote. It doesn’t tell you anything, but it does prove I’m not just pulling your leg: “We couldn’t be more excited that Deus Ex: Human Revolution has gone gold and will soon be in the hands of expectant gamers,” said Eidos-Montreal’s general manager Stephane D’Astous. “As the first release for Eidos-Montreal, it’s impossible to express how extremely proud we are of the final product and all of the hard work that went into its creation.” He’d better be right. Otherwise, I spill his drink.
http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1111348-Revolution!-Deus-Ex-3-Is-Finished
So, anyone that knows how long it takes to receive the email with the code for Steam, when I pre-ordered from GMG? Will I receive that upon the release? [editline]27th July 2011[/editline]
It's gone gold.
:toot:
