heh when i didn't have the electrical aug, i used the small boxes. stand on one, put the other in front, walk across, turn around, pick the other one up, put it in front, walk across, etc. i got really fast at it, and then i realised there was an aug.
In the end I just stacked up some various barrels and crates from all over Detroit and jumped over that one fence where the cop lingers near. Then I realized I only had to do that for a side quest instead of the main quest I was trying to do.
hey, can anyone get me a screenshot of the login screen for the computers? I wanna try and make a HTML/CSS copy of it
I am indeed enjoying Deus Ex, but it seems slightly unbalanced. I feel like I've reached the opus of augmentation. I never feel limited in some capacity. I've never even bought a single praxis kit, and I don't really need any of the other augs because it's already easy. I only just bought cloaking now, that's how easy stealth is. Definitely gonna do a Hard mode/No Kill playthrough after.
Where are the vendors in the second hub? I can only find the LIMB clinic.

I want the screen where it does that [editline]2nd September 2011[/editline] also you can get drunk in deus ex?
Does anyone know how I can disable the HUD? I'm trying to make a parody video.
Just got to the paris catacombs in DX1, fucking MJ12 commandos everywhere. I think it technically being a sewer level also makes me annoyed about it as well.
I cheated a bit on rescuing ning. I saw Totalbisuit's WTF is Deus ex 3 last night, and he rescued ning in that. So I knew where to look :v:
If I were to buy Deus Ex:HR from amazon.co.uk, would it be region locked?
If I were to buy Deus Ex:HR from amazon.co.uk, would it be region locked?
From the product page:
Please note: this title is not region-locked to the UK and can be played across Europe.
Has anyone noticed that on a computer in a lockup in Heng Sha there's an email with a transcription of the opening cutscene on it? Weird.
Is it possible to just shoot Bobby Bao and run out of The Hive to finish the Bar Tab quest? I really wasn't up for paying 5000 credits to free ning.
Easter eggs: http://kotaku.com/5837013/the-many-many-easter-eggs-in-deus-ex-human-revolution Spoilers, too.
Is it possible to just shoot Bobby Bao and run out of The Hive to finish the Bar Tab quest? I really wasn't up for paying 5000 credits to free ning.
He gives you a praxis kit if you do, which costs 5000 anyway.

Source Deus Ex Devs Taunt Us With Cut Content
Upper Heng Sha, the streets of Montreal, India; you won't find these places in Deus Ex: Human Revolution. At least, not anymore. Speaking to industry publication EDGE, Eidos Montreal art director Jonathan Jacques-Belletête and lead game designer Frank Lapikas spilled the French Canadian equivalent of beans on the wealth of content cut from the final version of the game. If you're a fan, you may want to surf away to something more pleasant, lest your rage overwhelm you. "There were definitely supposed to be some streets to Montreal. There were outdoor locations set in one of the most famous neighbourhoods of Montreal, called Plateau. It's got very specific architecture, called tri-plexes, with twirling exterior staircases made of this old metal," Jacques-Belletête said. "It's very specific to Montreal, and we'd drawn concept art of how these streets would look in 20 or 30 years from now. We even tried them in-game. Walking around them felt quite special - that architecture had never been in a game before, and never realised alongside a vision of 2027. It was really cool." "We had planned for a lot more city hubs," adds Lapikas. "Montreal was supposed to be one. Upper Heng Sha was actually built, but it was never finished." "At the beginning of the project we even planned to go to India. But as we constructed the city hubs, and understood the amount of work it took, we had to pare it down." Continuing, the pair claims that the amount of furniture and interior design nuances the firm designed "could fill an Ikea catalogue." Before fans have a chance to purse their collective lips and burst into petulant wails, the duo clarifies that these cuts were necessary to make Deus Ex: Human Revolution the stunningly detailed game you're likely enjoying at this very moment. Since Edge already took the comment-bait route by asking readers whether they might have preferred more locales to explore, over the hyper-detailed stomping grounds that made the final cut, I'm just going to make that decision for you guys. Sixty percent of you are suddenly very angry that you won't ever see India circa 2027, thirty-five percent of you can see the logic in cutting these areas in service of a more detailed final product, and five percent of you are still raging over the amount of blood spraying from the goat's neck in this comic. I'm right, aren't I?
I JUST SPENT 2 HOURS TRYING TO GET INTO THAT DAMN POLICE STATION ONLY TO REALIZE YOU COULD ASK THE FUCKING DUDE TO LET YOU IN! /c
"You're not my type." [editline]2nd September 2011[/editline]
Source Deus Ex Devs Taunt Us With Cut Content
Cut content on a good game means maybe more DLC. I'D EAT IT UP.

That's much better than paying $60 for a 4 hour campaign.
I JUST SPENT 2 HOURS TRYING TO GET INTO THAT DAMN POLICE STATION ONLY TO REALIZE YOU COULD ASK THE FUCKING DUDE TO LET YOU IN! /c
Congratulations, you (sort of) did a me.
Does anyone know how I can disable the HUD? I'm trying to make a parody video.
Anyone?
How many sidequests are there at Hengsha? I've only found two [sp]Malik's Shanghai Justice and Mei's Rotten Business. This is just after the the hacker dude and the pod gardens so more might pop up later though.[/sp]
