deus ex means of God in latin
You're gonna burn alright:
No you're all fucking wrong. "Deus Ex Machina" means "God from the machine" or "God out of the machine". The "Ex" part means out of, it's where we get words like "explode", "export", "explain" etc. The title "Deus Ex" therefore means "God From" or "God Out Of", leading the reader to affix "Machina" ("Machine") in their minds. This is mirrored in the game, where one of the THEMES is that Gods may be wrought by machines ("If there were no God, it would be necessary to invent him" - Voltaire), but not necessarily - the player can choose to side with Helios or he may choose otherwise. Thus "Deus Ex" applies to all three endings: - Deus Ex (Machina) : The player sides with Helios, thus creating a God figure from a machine - Dei Ex (Optimates): The player sides with the Illuminati, thus creating Gods from learned and wealthy individuals - Deus Ex (Universum): The player sides with no one and destroys Area 51, thus making the title literal - God out of the world - banished, removed.

For bonus, put loads of magazine extension mods on it, and win the game ten minutes later. Still not quite as awesome as the Grenade Launcher, but it's surprisingly cheap.
I don't have that DLC so I have to make do with exploding revolvers and rocket launchers.
Your video, Let's Play Deus Ex Human Revolution[PACIFIST] 1. Augmented , may include content that is owned or administered by these entities: Entity: IGN Content Type: Audiovisual content
ugh stupid IGN.
I don't have that DLC so I have to make do with exploding revolvers and rocket launchers.
Shame. I took down [sp]Namir[/sp] in three shots with it, literally the instant the cutscene ended.
Shame. I took down [sp]Namir[/sp] in three shots with it, literally the instant the cutscene ended.
Nothing quite like laying a mine on the side of the wall he always jumps over. I almost felt sorry for him. Almost.
How do you remove weapon attachments?
How do you remove weapon attachments?
You can't.
How do you remove weapon attachments?
Don't know why you'd want to, they're all fairly T4C71C00L.
Don't know why you'd want to, they're all fairly T4C71C00L.
No longer want to don a silencer on a pistol :(
No longer want to don a silencer on a pistol :(
Why? Also, don't use emotes or you might get rated boxssis.
Why would he get rated dumb for emotes? >:(
Why? Also, don't use emotes or you might get rated boxssis.
I don't really care about the rating system on the forum anymore - I just preferred the action elements with it and the weapon sound.

oh what apparently kills in the intro don't count against pacifist I pretty much gave up playing strict pacifist because I killed a bunch of people in the intro. Oh well, [sp]the endings of the game said I was humane for the most part[/sp] so I'm cool with that
I don't really care about the rating system on the forum anymore - I just preferred the action elements with it and the weapon sound.
I guess you can sell the pistol and find another. You might be able to reap a tidy profit, as well.
Anyone else get these random EMP surges when walking around? It lasts for maybe half a second and then stops, with no ill effects. I've had them happen twice. Unless it's a part of the plot dun dun dunn

For the most part, I didin't kill anyone except when defending malik and I committed some random acts of terrorism against belltower in hengsha. I was a hacking expert so I always set turrets and robots to kill enemies
