[sp]I somehow knew there would be an after credits scene in this game. There usually is in games like this.[/sp]
Ran through the game using nothing but my Tranq, stungun, and PEPS. Still didn't get Pacifist. Ugh I mean for crying out loud there's a bug that will cause targets to die from one tranq, even if it isn't in the head.
What's this? A positive remark for Invisible War? Holy fuck.
The one positive thing about it was that you had control of who you helped in the end. The original forced you to turn against UNATCO, IW let you side with any faction in the game.

Just one thing before I start my second playthrough, to get pacifist must I defeat the bosses using non-lethal weapons only? or is it a case of either is fine?
Just one thing before I start my second playthrough, to get pacifist must I defeat the bosses using non-lethal weapons only? or is it a case of either is fine?
Bosses are open-game. Just be careful with Pacifist runs. A lot of things can bug out and kill a target even if it was through non-lethal means.
I wonder if a CASIE system exists in real life. Like a way to put someone in a certain category (Alpha, Beta, Omega) and then act accordingly. I love playing around with my options in the game haha.
So I spent ages completing missions to earn enough xp to upgrade to level four hacking so I could get into an office for another mission. Finally get it, head to location of office, get lost in air vents, accidentally end up in said office, bypassing security. I think that time I played CoD may have rotted my brain.
I think that time I played CoD may have rotted my brain.
COD didn't do that. You just had a Deus Ex moment.
Gosh, the developers are sneaky. Got to the part where [sp]Malik gets ambushed, and obviously did what everyone did at that point: whipped out the explosive round revolver and punished those insolent mercs.[/sp] But then I realized that's what they want me to do, to break my nonlethal run, so I said fuck you and did the part nonlethally after a couple tries. Eat that, devs.
I did it first try non-lethal. [editline]3rd September 2011[/editline] But I'm playing it on Give Me A Story because I'm a pussy.
Playing my first run on Deus Ex, because the game is actually pretty easy. I haven't even bothered to stun people on most missions, I just sneak past.

Too bad I didn't get the achievement anyways.[/sp] So I watched the credits, [sp]the scene at the end, with Bob Page and Megan, how are they working together? The conversation takes place after the end of the game I assume. Why was Megan working for him, and what did she do to help him?[/sp]

At the end, they're talking about manufacturing the Gray Death. Megan was corrupted during those long months Jensen was absent (If it wasn't obvious by her rather luxurious living and calm attitude towards Namir) and thus became the catalyst needed for the nanoaugmentation project, birth of the Dentons, and the Gray Death. [sp]The look on Zhao's face when I didn't have the broken biochip, priceless.[/sp]
Never played Deux Ex but I want to try Hr, it looks awesome.

I dragged a KO'd guy into a doorway so no one would see him. His foot got caught in a wall and I couldn't take him out. Whyyyyyyyyyyyyy
Am I the only one who thinks the PS3 versions controls are kind of like what Halo's controls are? Except of course if it was on a PS3. [editline]3rd September 2011[/editline] I mean really, O/B=Melee The sprint button is on the same trigger You crouch with the same stick push Zoom is on the same stick Literally all the control buttons are based off the Halo style of controls.

[sp]Hold on, if you get the faulty biochip, shouldn't you be going batshit crazy too? I didn't take it so I have no idea what happens when that shit happens.[/sp]
Havent seen anyone post about this anywhere yet, might be wrong though Just found Titanic pulling out of the harbor, port of shanghai just before you go in the admin warehouse to plant the bomb.
So the augmented edition comes with the first issue of the DC Deus Ex comic. Where can I buy the rest of them?

THIS IS A TRAP. TRAAAP" but I just felt [sp]those glitches were gonna get worse and worse[/sp] Also I didn't have the Deus Ex mindset, I was treating it like it was one of those games where failure really is the only option when it's not
how could [sp]Reed say something like that to Malik at all? she was gone before they augmented Adam. anachronism or am I missing something?[/sp]
What? She could have said that to Malik at any time. [sp]Reed knew it was in his genes for a long time, her saying that Adam would take to it like a fish to water is understandable. Adam wouldn't have needed to be augmented for Reed to know that he would've been able to handle it without neuropozyne.[/sp]
I've run into a bit of a problem I'm doing the Hengsha sidequest where [sp]the doctor at the LIMB clinic asks you to hunt down some augmented rogue mercenary. I found their original hideout, took the pocket secretary from the body there and read it but the game keeps telling me to read the pocket secretary. Their new hideout is supposed to be in the sewers or something but the quest notes do not update to reflect this, and I scoured through the sewers a couple times already.[/sp] Any help?
