I can not hit winner hard enough.
How easy is it to get into the original Deus ex after playing HR?
Thought I saw "Nick Clegg" for a second there.
I never asked for conservative government
Punch him afterwards and [sp]take back your credits.[/sp] :v:
I tried that but everyone wanted to kill me afterwards so I used the praxis he gave me for the cloak augment and then [sp]shot hit with a tranq gun took my money ran out of there while I was cloaked.[/sp]
Is there any way to make it so that Take downs don't use energy. It doesn't make sense in my opinion.

It will feel a bit different for HR players, but it should be really easy to get dragged in the plot.

Not on the first playthrough.

I think the energy regen should regenerate multiple batteries, but maybe with a little pause when one has been filled. Currently I mostly play with one battery that I wait to regen after doing something, and sometimes, if I need to do multiple takedowns in a short period of time, I might use one of those items that give you more energy.
Although, on my second and "sneakier" playthrough, I've found a lot more of those items, so maybe they are not as rare as I thought.

Maybe you should learn how to collect and buy energy items and consume them when you need them?
I'm getting sick of people saying that the energy bars should all regen - sorry, but that would make the game unnecessarily easier.

How to have all your energy cells regenerate instead of only one
1) Get Cheatengine 6.1
2) Download the .ct file in post 7 here (or just copy the script)
3) Install then start Cheatengine and open the .ct (or enter the script manually in Table\Show Cheat table in LUA) - No need to fuck around with anything after you have that second small window open
4) Start DX_HR
5) Alt+tab to Cheatengine and choose the dxhr.exe process (symbol left from the open folder one)
Now whenever an energy cell reaches max it adds a tiny amount of energy to the next cell which makes it regenerate - all of your cells regenerate as fast as your recharge aug allows.
I've only tried this with the .ct file not with pasting the script itself - it should work regardless tough
I'm sure you can add some delay in the script manually if you don't want it to start regenerating the next cell right away.
Hope this helps people (and it wasn't posted in this thread already altough I don't remember)

I do consume them when I need them, that's exactly what I do. But because there isn't an unlimited supply of them, I play most of the game with one bar and wait for that to regen. I don't want to use those items, because I think there might be a situation right around the corner where I need them a lot.
It's the same thing as with very powerful weapons in most games: I don't use them, as they usually have a very limited supply of uses/ammo, and I "save them for later".
How to have all your energy cells regenerate instead of only one
I could also just raise my energy level to 100% with cheatengine, but that's cheating. So meh.
[editline]4th September 2011[/editline]
But about the energy bars, I don't think the devs meant it to be so that you save the energy items and run around with one bar until a boss fight or such. And like I said, on my second playthrough I've found a lot more of them when compared to my first one.
Deus Ex 1 had those bots that regenerated your energy to 100%, I think those were nice: energy items when on missions and then time to time you can recharge to 100% with those bots.

And then you beat the game with a plasma rifle and multiple stacks of ammo in your inventory you didn't use a single time. Story of my life.

Exactly. And that's pretty much what happens with me and the energy items, although I did use what I had saved near the end.
Dunno if you people know that thing but :
This wonderful mod (and the modding tools which are still being written) has been built by the Something Awful Forums regular gibbed. What it does is in the thread name, but let me elaborate.
DEBUG / BURGER MENU
The Debug Menu allows you to manipulate the game (no health regen, infinite power, infinite ammo, AI options, UI options) and has a "Shop" feature, which lets you spawn yourself augmentations, money, weapons, weapon mods and other in-game items, as well as tons of debug options which you probably should leave alone.
You access this via the Pause menu.

MAP SELECTOR
It also comes with a "Map Selection Window", which lets you pick which map to load. The list also has some "unused" maps like the E3 Demo and GamesCom, along with "Zoo" maps (which are usually maps with all NPCs and items so you can quickly test things), although the only one I could load was the "E3 Demo" one, and I think it's identical to the retail Hengsha map, except without NPCs. So I'm guessing the maps themselves aren't actually included.
You access this via the Main menu.

The mod also disables the intro logos, so you can get in-game much faster!

WILL ONLY WORK WITH GAME VERSION 1.1.622.0
Whenever there will be a patch, the mod will have to be "repackaged".

Installation:
1) Navigate into ..\Steam\steamapps\common\deus ex - human revolution\ (finding these folders depend on where you have Steam installed) and make a backup of patch0.000 though you can have Steam redownload it by doing verify integrity if you want the original file back.
2) Unpack the download into the same folder, so you'll have a "new", modded patch0.000 file. If you don't need a backup, over-write the existing file.
3) Play!
Sorry if i'm late.
Also, someone knows how to fucking desactivate the HUD ? I was thinking this mod does, but no, it's buggd.
Hey, those that are saying social enhancer is cheating: It does not show you the correct dialogue path. It does not help with that. It just gives you a chance to convince the other further into the discussion, which is not possible without the augmentation.
In other words, it gives you new dialogue choices time to time, but doesn't make it any easier to get past the normal ones.
It helped me get the [sp]Darrow normal dialogue choices[/sp] right because of the profile on the right hand side.
2 hours left for dlc ???

I think that's the only case that profile information panel is even shown. Or at least I haven't noticed it elsewhere, and I've had the augmentation since [sp]upper Hengshai[/sp].

It's shown every time you get a conversation in first person. First possible one is against Zeke if you got casie at that point already.

Oh. Well, there aren't that many first person dialogues in the game. Or if there are, I've done a pretty good job ignoring that profile information on the right.

If you want to make enemies, try to cut the public sector.

I know it doesn't. I wasn't implying that it does that. What I meant was the profile thing on the left with Alpha Beta Omega thingy. With profile thingy, you just pick whatever fits the profile + pheromones in the end as you said. It just seemed like other augs actually help you in combat but this one is just replacing the dialog and your immersion. I could be choosing 2 wrong choices and see how I'm actually failing to convince but then I hit the sweet spot and they comply.

I found several characters don't profile well with the Personality Types. Some show no indication of any Personality and several show the wrong personality.
