Oh yeah!
I found several characters don't profile well with the Personality Types. Some show no indication of any Personality and several show the wrong personality.

Tong too, I remember that.
Don't remember Haas though. Is he the drug dealer guy?
Well, since I never used it, never knew it could show wrong profile. So I guess there's that.
And:

Is it worth replaying Deus Ex with Shifter? How good is it
I felt terrible after using the CASIE on Haas.
You threaten to have him fired for taking pills.

Strange...I had a dream that i was Adam Jensen and got a sex change surgery for some reason
Edit:Oh,and i could shoot rockets out his boobs too

I had it at that point, didn't threaten him - at all - and still got through.
Something I'm missing here?
Is there any way to make it so that Take downs don't use energy. It doesn't make sense in my opinion.
No, because that would mean you could takedown anybody without any cost.
No, because that would mean you could takedown anybody without any cost.
And that you weren't expending energy whilst doing it... which I'm fairly certain is physically impossible, unless Jensen's got perpetual motion devices in his arms and legs.
And that you weren't expending energy whilst doing it... which I'm fairly certain is physically impossible, unless Jensen's got perpetual motion devices in his arms and legs.
Because this game is hyper-realistic.

But that just makes Jensen's super robot arms seem like a downgrade from human ones. I would imagine a trained security expert would be able to punch multiple people in a short timespan without having to keep cramming candy in his mouth.

They're protein bars not candy, there's a difference you know.

But can they liquidate a man's sola plexus?
Didn't think so.
Besides, think of him more as a superhero. His CyberBoost bars give him strength!
Am I the only one who feels there needs to be another game to bridge the gap between HR and the original?

The after-credits cutscene is the bridge to the next game.
Doing a 2nd playthrough because the game is so awesome. It's great now though as I know which augs would be best to start off with and the easiest routes to navigate through. First mission litereally took me 5-10 minutes because I could just fly around all the patrols or get past them as they talk in groups rather than listening to the plot.
Also at the police station I managed to talk my way in, however the guy near the restricted door kept spotting me when trying to hack the receptionists computer so i got some bins and stacked them infront of his face, he could see me no longer!! :D
Is the heavy rifle worth it? Should I drop my combat rifle? More importantly how hard is it to find ammo for it?
Dunno if you people know that thing but :

Sorry if i'm late.
Also, someone knows how to fucking desactivate the HUD ? I was thinking this mod does, but no, it's buggd.
Finally something cheat worthy that works other then trainers. Completed the game, [sp]choose to sink myself under the seak, world will never know[/sp]

well this is awkward

It's good, but it has a warm-up period, so there's no fast killing with it. It's not very accurate but it packs a punch. The ammo is harder to find than Combat Rifle ammo, but it's not too sparse.

happens to me all the time
Is it worth it getting a HQ texture pack for my first playthrough on deus ex? Anyone got a link?

I think I'll stick with the combat rifle for now, after all I've upgraded the hell out of it.

http://www.moddb.com/mods/deus-ex-new-vision Well unless you like having the charm of the old textures I say get it.

I haven't see any vehicles ingame, so does that imply he can run 24/7 without protein bars but can't do a weakly punch?
As someone said, game's not realistic so if someone wants to takedown 24/7, he should be able to. Nobody is forcing you to do it, same thing as nobody is forcing to tranq everyone or get foxiest achievement.
IMO.

Am I the only one who's not disgusted over DX1's graphics? Never used a texture pack on it and as long as the game's running in my native resolution I'm good with it.
Try to use that, that's the newest texture upgrade for it - http://www.moddb.com/mods/deus-ex-new-vision/news/new-vision-version-10-released

That's a bad comparison.
You are comparing using instant-takedowns without any penalty with a play-style and getting an achievement.

It's a balance issue... If you'll be able the take down enemies non stop what challenge would it be? its the most efficient weapon in the game.

huh, i have never spoken to him
I love how [sp]Bruggen asks you for a gun and when you give it to him he just hides in his pod, not to mention he didn't take any of the ammo.[/sp]
