Does anybody else here not feel like doing a second playthrough of DX:HR? Sure the game was awesome, but doing all the side quests/quests again in Hengsha/Detroit? Fighting every boss again? I dunno, i just don't feel like doing all that again.
I want to, but I just know I won't be able to find the fucking time with uni and all. It's taken me for fucking ever just to play through ME2 this time around because of uni.
Fresh from lmao pics [hd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CvqYb4LNkB0[/hd] Criken plays DXHR
5:46 DEFENSE AUGMENTATION ACTIVATED
The ending nearly made me shed a tear. [sp]No one man can decide what's best for humanity as a whole. So, in that moment of realization, I pressed the self destruct button and shed a tear. I had done the right thing.[/sp]

Joyful adventures with Agent OH-RANGE the vending machine.
I just beat the game and to be honest the ending was a bit of a letdown. I went the route of [sp]releasing Darrow's message, and the ending being one of three choices, while a very interesting premise, left a lot to be desired.[/sp]
It's... the same as the original Deus Ex. In fact, it had one choice more than the original.

You're giving everyone on the planet the ability to make the choice for themselves (as per the 'kill everything' ending) but you're actually giving them the necessary information (all of it, not just part of the story, the whole, unadulterated truth as Eliza put it) in order for them to make the best, most informed decision. Just blowing the whole station to hell achieves nothing.[/sp]

You don't [sp]reveal the masterminds behind it, you just incriminate Darrow for diverging from the existing plan.[/sp]

Does anyone else have a problem with automatically shooting your gun when you turn off the eBooks?

Killing so many people, including several very important ones affects the world just as much as any of the buttons. Even the idea of making a decision that affects humanity being wrong is silly because history has been and will continue to be altered by individuals and events out side of everyone else's control, and it's a natural part of how history plays out. The whole thing is just some philosophical sounding platitude that sounds deeper than it really is.
there are four endings
I got to ask, what's with you guys and that avatar? I mean, I've seen at least 3 different members with it and I'm getting tired of thinking you're all the same person.

The buildup to that point was the best part of the story and at the end it was just like "what the fuck is this?" [sp]Because you either let augmentations fuck people over, put in place shitty laws that won't do anything, or destroy Panchea, which stops Darrow's attempt at curbing global warming all the while killing a lot of people.[/sp] No idea about the supposed "fourth" ending but the choices are just terrible. Not to mention all the loose ends they never tied up.

Playing through Deus Ex 1. Seems more enjoyable all of a sudden. Weird.
Finished playing it 2 hours ago. Took me roughly 1 day and 2 hours to finish it. Played by mostly sneaking and hacking, did every side mission I could too. Love the game, too bad it's over now. :C
[sp]Barret[/sp] doesn't even give you a prompt, he grabs you and chucks you away, [sp]Yelena[/sp] you can try and takedown whenever you want, but it never works.
Try to use a takedown on [sp]Namir[/sp] at the wrong time and he [sp]counters, then snaps your neck for an instant kill.[/sp]
