Try to use a takedown on [sp]Namir[/sp] at the wrong time and he [sp]counters, then snaps your neck for an instant kill.[/sp]
[sp]I loved that crazy pounce thing he did, would have made the fight more interesting if he moved like that the whole time.[/sp]
I want to know more about the [sp]synthetic squelchy bodies.[/sp] They were freaky and awesome. They were barely even touched upon though.
Oh and I just remembered: Additional evidence for [sp]Panchaea either being destroyed, or it being ineffective. In the original Deus Ex, you can read a newspaper in La Guardia base with a story about how the ice caps are only now starting to recover. That's not a case of the Panchaea working - the timescale for iron seeding is much shorter than 25 years. Rather, the economic depression causes a lack of carbon dioxide output.[/sp]
Just finished the game, I loved it but it wasn't as good as I expected. Still a fucking amazing game.
If games have taught me anything, it's that [sp]"philanthropist" is shorthand for motherfucking crazy[/sp]
I want to know more about the [sp]synthetic squelchy bodies.[/sp] They were freaky and awesome. They were barely even touched upon though.
[sp]They all shift between dramatic poses that emphasize their "muscles", so I think the room was some sort of galley dedicated to the workings of the human body. Can't see how Megan sleeps with those things right outside her door though, then again her room is entirely white so she probably has some strange tastes.[/sp]
Can't seem to get that High res texture pack working for the original deus ex, could it be because I own it on steam?
Ion seeding or solar winds having an effect on weather especially ice/water nucleation in upper cloud layers is a very real effect. I wouldn't call it a scam what [sp]Darrow was doing at Panchaea to fight global warming.[/sp] I updated the wikia page on this, but it's not yet public when you're logged out.
Iron seeding. Not ion seeding http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iron_fertilization
Yes ION seeding. There is a particle accelerator in Panchaea. http://ams.confex.com/ams/pdfpapers/88063.pdf
edit : I don't know nothing about no particle accelerator
I want to know more about the [sp]synthetic squelchy bodies.[/sp] They were freaky and awesome. They were barely even touched upon though.
They looked like they were made of augmented body parts and were used to show off poses to show how lifelike they were.
They looked like they were made of augmented body parts and were used to show off poses to show how lifelike they were.
I swear they're just like, whole intact bodies [sp]Like you could just remove someone's head and spinal cord and transplant it into one of them[/sp] [tab]shudder[/tab]
If this thread ever gets a V4, I request it to be, "Deus Ex: Human Revolution V4 - Shrewd Political Operations."
holy shit, Spaced reference http://deusex.wikia.com/wiki/Steiner_Bisley
Best reference ever.
[sp]I didn't understand who all the girls were inside the machine in the hyron project? I thought Zhao was just trying to get access to the master signal that would allow her to control everyone?[/sp]
Why not, for a whole new experience and stuff, start from the beginning? :S
[sp]Why wasn't Sarif's ending available to me? I blew the place up cause Taggart was an asshole and the other guy was a moron. I didn't have a pro augmentation option, one of the buttons wasn't available for me to press. I don't get it?[/sp]
[sp]did you go to find and save Sarif?[/sp]

I just wish we could pick and choose bits of the endings. I liked [sp]Sarifs and Taggarts best. Sarif had the best intentions, but it's undeniable that someone will abuse the power augmentation offers, which is where the regulation of Taggart comes in.[/sp]

I just realized Adam Jensen was born the same year as me :)
So how was a giant hole in the ocean going to stop global warming?
So how was a giant hole in the ocean going to stop global warming?
magic.
So how was a giant hole in the ocean going to stop global warming?
A combination of Mass Effect fields and fairy dust.
So how was a giant hole in the ocean going to stop global warming?
Something to do with injecting Iron ore into the ocean to force some manner of reaction that om noms Carbon Dioxide. :science:
