[sp]did you not pay attention to (what's his face, the pro-human guy)'s confession about the illuminati's true intentions with the biochip? it was for crowd control, so that people wouldn't kill each other and stuff[/sp]
[sp] psh please you believe any of that crap he spewed out? the illumanti was killing anyone that got in their way, sure he claimed that's what it was for, he wanted you to help him [/sp]
I'm on my second playthrough and I'm picking up a lot more than I did my first time around. As well as seeing what different choices affect.

This has to have been the best game I've played in years. I didn't even mind the boss fights in it [sp]except for Namir, fuck him to hell. It tricks you into thinking you have to be super careful with him but really you just gotta unload on him till he dies.[/sp]. I'm fucking PROUD to own the augmented edition of it, well worth the price for that sexy box with a sexy game inside. I'm gonna have to play it a second time though because I tried going pacifist through the whole thing, then I lost ammo in my stun gun and tranq rifle. Then my pistol and I had fun.
If you've played the other Deus Ex games, you'll realize time is sorta out the window :v:
I did a double take after the FEMA base and that corportate guy (Can't recall his name) says "This must've been a rough first day back for you!" I did all those missions in one night holy shit I get things done
The crossbow seemed like a neato weapon that was way too situational with a lack of ammo floating around.
It felt awesome when you managed to get a guy pinned on a wall by a crossbow arrow.
If you've played the other Deus Ex game, you'll realize time is sorta out the window :v:
fixd yw
Has anyone found a way to play the Tracer Tong DLC using the debug menu patch (for people who didn't pre-order)?
I guess you actually CAN access the mission using the debug menu. http://i.imgur.com/83kg0.jpg (not tagging since it's kinda spoilerish if you haven't [sp]went back to Hengsha a second time[/sp]) You have to press down arrow on [sp]the second Hengsha map[/sp] to get to there. The only problem is you have to manually add all your augs and weapons back using the debug menu, but it's a way to access the DLC if you didn't preorder. And this is using the debug patch posted a few pages back, if you didn't know.
That Debug menu is so odd. How do you operate that thing on PC. I mean, it has PS3 dpad indicators, a stick for either console, and the Xbox buttons. Wha.
I wish there were more occasions to use the sniper rifle, or at least not make it so damn loud so I don't get swarmed so quickly
Reason I didn't use it at all until the last boss.

Sigh.. He's talking about how Crysis 2 is better than Deus ex HR.
There's not too much DLC nonsense. Just a pre-order pack. I mean, Pre-orders are fairly meaningless thigns anyway. If you want em, how much effort does it take?
I pre-ordered and I ended up using the 10mm pistol with a laser sight equipped. Boring but effective.
What's this about a debug menu?
What's this about a debug menu?
Rick (Gibbed) made/found a debug menu in the game which contains everything from add weapons to inventory, change AI behavior & such stuff. I don't have the link atm.

Well shit guys, I'm stuck with another conundrum. I'm at Hengsha [sp]again[/sp], and I can't decide whether to get the new chip or continue on. I'm thinking that the chip's a [sp]trap, due to the whole "Illuminati controls everything" conspiracy that's going on.[/sp] Are my fears correct?
Without spoiling much: [sp]yes, but it's not too big a deal[/sp]
Spoiling a little more, don't click if you haven't exited Hengsha yet. [sp]Funny thing is I didn't even need any augs when fighting against Namir. All I needed was just the laser rifle, I unloaded like 800 charges (you know the ammo it uses) on his face and bam he was down. Bit of a letdown really, I was expecting the fight to be a little more sequenced and that there would've been like some real tactics you needed to use in order to defeat him.[/sp]
[sp] I carried the damn turret with me and threw it in the room before the fight and it fucked namir up heaps for me. I got the new chip knowing it was a bad idea from what I read but not knowing exactly why or what it changed, so I wanted to find out.[/sp]

The first time I played the game, I took the chip. It seemed a lot like a trap, so I took the chip just to see the effects.
I just realised I fully upgraded the typhoon system, only for me to never use it throughout the game. Not even once.
http://forums.eidosgames.com/showthread.php?t=121245 Info there
Tried it out, what's sad is it shows the debug menu was clearly designed for consoles, of course it could be due to them having to show case.
I just realised I fully upgraded the typhoon system, only for me to never use it throughout the game. Not even once.
It's actually really useful against bosses. And for killing random civilians.
Kudos to Pelaaja, one of the two major Finnish game magazines. They decided to give subscribers the Humanity+ thingamagic as a bonus.
