Don't do it! There is a mod that allows you to add DLC weapons for free. Go to gib.me and dowload it. If you are not directly supporting the developers don't buy it. [editline]5th September 2011[/editline] http://forums.eidosgames.com/showthread.php?t=121245
I support the developers and I'd like to buy it, I just want to know if it's safe to buy from them. I've also heard that you need to re-gain (or through cheats) your augmentations/weapons with that mod right?
silenced pistol with armor piercing rounds, laser, and as many upgrades as you fit on it you don't need another gun the entire game and you can be stealthy
That's why I added zhe link.
Oh, derp. That's the thing I used that wouldn't hide my HUD.
By the end of Deus Ex i lost count of how many Nuke Viruses and what not i had. I mostly went through the game not using them. To the point at the end of the game i could basicaly use them on every computer and still have so many. I also had over 30? Typhon ammo. Usualy i go throughout games like this blasting everyone to hell. I actualy played this one mostly stealthy. Made the game a lot more fun. Oh believe me i did have my moments where i went on a shotgun/revolver exploding bullets rampage. Many times during combat i had Turry with me. I named the sentry robot xD. Went around carrying him letting Turry fuck up everything. Turry been through many battles with me. I remember before that one boss fight where all the douchebags come after you at once. I sat Turry infront of the doorway and he went to town. I got pissed when i took him into a boss fight and that douchebag shot some electric shit at him, destroying him. Poor Turry, its ok though because i found reincarnated Turry's throughout other places.
I've also heard that you need to re-gain (or through cheats) your augmentations/weapons with that mod right?
That is absolutely not true. Any savegames you have had before installing the debug mod will remain completely the same as they were before.
The mod allows you to put items directly in your inventory. So you can get weapons earlier. Technically you could add the ones from the DLC, make a save and never use the mod again if you feel tempted by the other options.
What about Tong's Rescue? [editline]5th September 2011[/editline]
That is absolutely not true. I made some saves in some points I wanted non-HUD screenshots of.

Hmm on my second run [sp]Sandoval tried to attack me instead of killing himself.[/sp] What did I do that caused that instead?
AugTip for anybody who hasn't watched the credits all the way through: Do it now.
Hmm on my second run [sp]Sandoval tried to attack me instead of killing himself.[/sp] What did I do that caused that instead?
[sp]Not having the conversation with Taggart I believe[/sp]
http://blog.gib.me/2011/08/23/deus-ex-human-revolution-no-ads/ Is that even necessary?
I've never seen in-game ads.
Hmm on my second run [sp]Sandoval tried to attack me instead of killing himself.[/sp] What did I do that caused that instead?
That's what happened to me on my first playthrough. I must admit, I much preferred [sp]talking him out of killing himself[/sp] than just [sp]killing him[/sp].
[sp]Not having the conversation with Taggart I believe[/sp]
[sp]Nope, that's irrelevant. First playthrough I sneaked backstage to his computer, and Sandoval still killed himself. Then on my second playthrough I confronted Taggart, and he still killed himself. Then, finally, on my pacifist/foxiest playthrough, when I didn't set off any alarms, he attacked me. I'm pretty sure that when he tries to kill himself he already knows you're coming for him because you've set off alarms. But if you don't set off any alarms, you startle him and he tries to kill you.[/sp]

[sp]This post then makes as much sense as[/sp] the plumber with a wrench in Paris.
[sp]I never set off any alarms and he still tried to kill himself. So I have no clue what causes it.[/sp]
Well that's weird. I'd like to know what causes it.
Well that's weird. I'd like to know what causes it.
[sp]Sandoval only attacks you if you DON'T confront Taggart or plant the evidence on Taggart's computer, since that way Taggart doesn't know about his terrorist connections. Planting the evidence or confronting Taggart in the conference will always trigger the suicide attempt.[/sp]
Can you recharge your power cells? I'm back in Detroit during the riots and I've been using one cell for pretty much the whole playthrough.
Can you recharge your power cells?
Can you recharge your power cells? I'm back in Detroit during the riots and I've been using one cell for pretty much the whole playthrough.
You have to eat CyberBoost bars
I have 5 cells but I've never had any except for the first one recharge. [editline]6th September 2011[/editline]
You have to eat CyberBoost bars
Ah, right. Thanks.
Does anyone else think the Pangu can be used for so much more than simply storage? You could probably fit a whole other city in that thing.
I just noticed I missed the last side quest. After meeting [sp] Ms Walthers[/sp] I felt disappointed and angered. So I went on killing her in various ways, till I grabbed the fridge and smacked her with all satisfaction.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-8rBzU1RMyE why is this ending for DX1 so oddly affecting? it has by far the best music of all the endings, and it really is kind of bittersweet and gives me that strange melancholy feeling, like I got at the end of both Portal games. In terms of what I find ideal, it's definitely not my preferred ending, but narrative and emotion wise, I think it's the best. My first playthrough, mostly finished. I tried to have a sort of burly superman type guy. But why is there no goddamn combat rifle ammo? I've had maybe 250 rounds the whole goddamn game.So halfway through I ended up being sneaky and using stuff like the tranquilizer rifle constantly just because it meant I didn't have to kill the tough guys.
Verify game cache now
I tried to do this, but it wouldn't allow me to do that. I guess I need to download it first. :smith:
I should mention on the topic of that, that when I got to the apartment I [sp]dealt with Sanders first, removed the body from the mines, and then took the praxis.[/sp] Think that has an effect?
