Does anyone know why it's always night-time? I wish I could see some blue :(
I'm pretty sure that it's daytime when you go to Hengsha. It's just that it's obscured by the upper level of the city. [editline]6th September 2011[/editline] I noticed I got some emails from sarif employees about someone stealing stuff from their offices... I do recall nicking a couple of credit chips while investigating the neuropozyne thefts. For evidence, of course!
I noticed I got some emails from sarif employees about someone stealing stuff from their offices... I do recall nicking a couple of credit chips while investigating the neuropozyne thefts. For evidence, of course!
I remember those emails. I was so used to casually nicking stuff I went around investigating all the offices to find the thief, stealing all the credits as I searched.
I'm pretty sure that it's daytime when you go to Hengsha. It's just that it's obscured by the upper level of the city.
This. You can clearly see the sun when you're in the [sp]Tai Yong Medical building looking down on the upper city.[/sp]
Wait what, you can capture the "security" thingy in terminal hacks? ( the one that tries to detect where you hack from) How? Ive played through the game twice now and never even knew.
yes [editline]6th September 2011[/editline] what do you mean how just capture it if they have dotted lines with arrows it won't work tho
Just found a vent shaft in [sp]Zhao's penthouse, which leads around most of the guards to make an easier silent escape.[/sp] Every playthrough I will find something new.
Threw a concussion grenade into the middle of the crowd of guards while they were all circled and sprinted to the elevator without even needing to harm a single one Of course, I didn't have enough computer skill or ordnance to take out the bots in the next area so I had to backtrack and kill every one of them for ammo. [editline]6th September 2011[/editline]
Maybe it's a play style difference, but I really enjoyed the bossfights. My first run was all stealthy and non-lethal, so the bosses were a way to put all the ducking, hiding, cloaking, and silent-running to work. The majority of the time none of them could find me until I poked them, then I stealth-ed off and stalked them some more. [sp]In the first fight I was jumping and ducking around pillars when lawrence had his back turned until I got close enough to for the stun gun. In the second fight it was watching the lights for distortions and listening for watery footsteps to stay one step ahead.[/sp] It was really thrilling. [sp]Oh except that final boss fight, I forgot about that. That one wasn't great.[/sp]
The second one was horrid for me, I piled all the points I had so far into stealth and movement, when suddenly [sp]crazy ninja betch who can run faster than me and has dual nuke launchers[/sp]
i just threw a gas grenade in the crowd and then punched the remaining four people in the face.
i just threw a gas grenade in the crowd and then punched the remaining four people in the face.
Which is good if you have a gas grenade, but what about if your only weapon is a ProEnergy bar multipack?
Which is good if you have a gas grenade, but what about if your only weapon is a ProEnergy bar multipack?
zat will be adequate
Can someone help me with a part I am stuck on? [sp] I just got the information off the server and made my way up to the CEO. She kicked me out and I made my way to the elevator taking me to the hangar. At the hangar there are two robots and I have no clue what I can do to kill them. I weapons I have are: 10mm Pistol, Stun Gun, Machine Pistol, Tranq Rifle, and a PEPs. I also have not leveled my hacking up high enough to disable them at the terminal.[/sp] Please help!
I think i found some EMP grenades down there and a heavy rifle.
I think there was a pocket secretary in there somewhere that gives you the password for the security terminal.

Also I'm pretty sure there are a few emp grenades lying around.

Can you defeat bosses with non-lethal weponry?
Can you defeat bosses with non-lethal weponry?
I think you can kill Barrett with 8 shots from the stun gun.
I think you can kill Barrett with 8 shots from the stun gun.
What about throwing boxes at them?
I thought that killing the bosses wouldn't count towards the actual bodycount, no?
Wait, what gives the immunity to EMPs?
"Goddamn, Hengsha looks awesome. There's there sun!!" *lands in lower level* fuck you deus ex, still denying me the blue sky.
"Goddamn, Hengsha looks awesome. There's there sun!!" *lands in lower level* fuck you deus ex, still denying me the blue sky.
Keep playing.
Keep playing.
i am now excited.
God damn the endings to this were awesome. I left that other 'alternative' ending after the standard 3 for my second playthrough, want to have something new to look forward too. This is one of the very few games im genuinely looking forward to and going to enjoy replaying.
Can you defeat bosses with non-lethal weponry?
Yes though it doesn't matter how you do it as long as you win. The stun gun does minimal damage to bosses though. (They still die exactly like the would have if you went lethal though so there's no point)
Me and [sp]Malik[/sp] [sp]got attacked on the second trip to Hengsha.[/sp] I never asked for this. But I managed to [sp]save Malik[/sp] I asked for this.
Completed it, still think it's shit. You don't need most the upgrades and once you have invisibility you don't even have to try being sneaky. Bosses were really easy, didn't even get dermal armour and by Heng Sha, except when I was fighting bosses, I didn't fire a single bullet or take down anyone. By the way, played it on Give me Dues Ex because I thought it'd make the guards harder to sneak past - it didn't. And it only took me 12 hours to complete, not sure where this 20 hour bullshit came from.
Did you do side quests or just the main ones?
I did any side quest when I ran into one. Just compared the ones I did to the IGN list, I did 12/15.
