Someone posted about how the drug you need to stop your body rejecting the augmentations isn't mentioned through the game much. Well, [sp]if you did few sidequests, you would learn Adam was the first genetically engineered baby that could accept augmentations naturally. He was rescued before they could do harm to him.[/sp]

He can still smoke but without any of the damaging side effects.
