Seriously I've played a good while of the singleplayer now and I still haven't found more stun gun ammo. No tranquilizer pistol either but I don't think it even exists! Other than that, the game shoves just more weapons like the pistol and shotgun and combat rifle, but I only have pistol that I don't want to use. And some augmented nigga gang leader didn't sell stun gun ammo either. Gotta look for other merchants I suppose
Look harder.

Besides, your fists are the best non-lethal weapon.
I already established there is no tranq pistol I don't know who told you there was or where you got the idea from but its bullshit. The amount of times I've run into tranq/stun ammo when I wanted actual rifle/pistol ammo is too many to count.
Opposite for me, when I went for my no-kill run. I guess it depends on what you're looking for. [editline]7th September 2011[/editline]
There's a dart rifle, no pistol though. Besides, your fists are the best non-lethal weapon.
In my non-lethal run, 90% of my attacks are fist-to-fist.
i was thinking about the endings today [sp]i realized that taggart's ending was futile because of the lie he chose - that neuropozyne worldwide was somehow contaminated. considering that reed would obviously introduce the dna-exploitative augmentation and/or nano-augmentation into the public (perhaps with sarif's help), that would remove a necessity for neuropozyne in the first place. it's unknown if augmentations were regulated at any point in time after jensen chooses this ending, but even if they were, it seems that by deus ex 1 they appear to be gone (or maybe at least to the public) darrow's ending obviously didn't work out b/c look at deus ex 1. augmentations everywhere. although it's not really explained what happened afterward the truth outed, it's obvious that it didn't work well enough. however, the game seems to suggest that the "zombification" biochip runtime is turned off and that the whole genocide cause by darrow ends. but that's just guesswork. if that didn't happen then most likely that "breed" of augs would be superceded by ones with a new biochip. or something. i don't even fucking know. the eventual outcome of sarif's ending is most appropriate to jensen's intention of choosing that ending (if he chooses it) - technological progress becomes unobstructed, offering probably most direct pathway into the plot of deus ex 1. i assume that sarif industries comes out on top with the introduction of DNA-exploitative and (probably) nano-augmentation into society, but it's not definite, it could be something reed did by herself. even more genocide would have to result from this ending however, as part of the convincing of society that it was a humanity front-developed pathogen, which, if actually existed, wouldn't be able to be simply "turned off." the suicide ending? well, it's obvious that adam's intentions (letting the people decide for themselves) wouldn't work out, at least not yet. of course you see bob page at the end, obviously paving way for deus ex 1, meaning that, yes, the world is still controlled by a select few individuals, illuminati or otherwise. however i'm going to keep making some assumptions: the "zombification" runtime could perhaps have to be constantly held in place and that destroying panchaea would end it, or maybe it would continue running and have to be stopped by some signal, i dunno. if destroying panchaea stopped the whole zombified augs thing, then i guess it was genocide for stopping genocide. coincidental, then.[/sp]
Finished the game, and [sp]I wasn't the only one getting a Glados vibe (and a bit MGS) from the final boss? Actually the whole Panchaea gave me a Metal Gear Solid vibe.[/sp]
[sp]Glados was inspired by/is a parody of SHODAN from SS2, and DX1 is a spiritual successor to SS2.[/sp] The more you know :eng101:
Does anyone know how to extract stuff from the, and I quote, "bigFile"s?
Also I just realised something. What happens if [sp]you kill the scientists that are meant to provide the distraction at the Omega Ranch? What happens if you use the laser gun to kill megan through the wall when she runs towards the VTOL?[/sp]

I met someone named Malik today. I didn't realize that was a real name.
I met someone named Malik today. I didn't realize that was a real name.
it's believable
There's a dart rifle, no pistol though. Besides, your fists are the best non-lethal weapon.
Yeah... When there's a roomful of like 5 enemies, and they have a chat like "Shit you killed him" "Don't wanna go to prison" "Fuck that, he insulted me" then I just knocked the shit out of some, stun gunned some, and fucking executed the last one with the augmented blades
police know what they're getting into too as well as the security guards just say'n
They have better intentions than street gangs and mercenaries, though.
Another question about achievements. If going for pacifist, am I still allowed to kill people through a hacked turret? Nevermind, decided just to block the doors at the [sp]funicular in picus[/sp] with vending machines and containers, the enemies can't get through them.
They have better intentions than street gangs and mercenaries, though.
I think the Belltower mercs are portrayed as being twats and genuinely evil in this which is massively unfair given how it all seemed in the book. The book clearly conveys the idea that they just get shit done and nothing more which is totally believable and adds another dimension to the world IMO.

Shadows, especially. [editline]8th September 2011[/editline] From his YouTube video: "SSAO, indirect lighting, shadows (beta), palette removed, true HDR rendering."
Actual shadows amazing.
It could be better if the guy can actually run what he is modifying.
I met someone named Malik today. I didn't realize that was a real name.
inb she was a lesbian.
I guess I'll go non-lethal primarily for my playthrough. Mainly because, if I'm seen, I'm shot to bits. I don't enjoy being shot to bits. Stun-guns it is!
has anyone tried to combine the debug mode with that inventory mod?
Belltower guys guarding offices and acting as police are fine, the Belltower guys who [sp]raid the pod hotel[/sp] are open season, though.
I made a special point of hunting down and murdering every one of those particular fuckers. Including the one that somehow spawned inside the [sp]pod[/sp] /wall.
has anyone tried to combine the debug mode with that inventory mod?
yup someone did it: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=M9AQ1UJO
Someone just left a tag unchecked that said [sp]Sarif was Adams father[/sp] If that was true I get to stab someone.
