Deus Ex: Human Revolution V3 - I Never Asked For This

I was kind of annoyed that lethal takedowns are louder than non-lethal. I'm not sure, but lethal is heard in any open space no matter the distance, where the non-lethal doesn't disturb a thing.
The answer to this is closed doors.
Is this game worth the dosh? I may get it.
Have you played the original?
I never finished it. That was a long time ago. I rebought it on Steam a few weeks ago, will probably play that when I finish this.
Yeah right.. some item, like a pocket secretary but a quest item, is stuck under a wide glassy fucking stool inside this brothel in china.
Before this quest was this far I had already sneaked into the place and knocked them out and shit but now they are dead probably due to starvation or thirst, and the quest item is still stuck.
So lmao gg

... what?
why would you knock everyone out at the brothel?
I didn't. Just them. In their room, the quest item is stuck there.
Paul is [sp]a clone of Adam[/sp]
Damn you Megan for stealing Adam's semen!
So this is pretty stupid, my game is stuck now.
Anyone know how to fix it? seriously it would help a lot i'm not gonna start a new save fuck that
[sp]Adam's DNA was used to create Paul and JC[/sp]
i thought we all knew this already?
So who were Paul and JC's parents?
So who were Paul and JC's parents?
... noone? was it even ever revealed?
So who were Paul and JC's parents?
[sp]MJ12 scientists were their surrogate parents.[/sp]
... noone? was it even ever revealed?
Oh yea, weren't they UNATCO or UN people that were supposedly Paul and JC's 'parents'. And instead of dying in a car accident they were actually murdered.

Oh...
Damn you Megan for stealing Adam's semen!
Is it stealing when you share it?

In cans?

Wait, I thought [sp]Paul was a naturally born kid and JC was the clone[/sp]?
Is there any fix when your little quest item is stuck under a glassy stool-type object? The quest item is clearly visible under it, I can also point it with the crosshair without having anything between the item and the crosshair, but can't pick it up.
It's inside a brothel room, to gather info or something, storyline quest obviously, and there's a female and a male inside the room, both dead by now unfortunately.
What the fuck do?!
Wait, I thought [sp]Paul was a naturally born kid and JC was the clone[/sp]?
[sp]I thought they were both genetically engineered and both have assigned birth dates?[/sp]

the dodgy Bob Page editing made me laugh
this deus ex talk makes me confused about adam, paul and JC. I have not played the original deus exes so i wouldn't know. [sp]but as far as i can tell adam has no genetic mother as he was born in the lab? Or am i wrong here? I am not sure if that even makes sense. Maybe they grew him out of DNA alone or some shit?[/sp] someone explain this to me please.

[sp]His genetic parents are the ones who started the fire in White Helix Labs after Jensen underwent gene therapy there[/sp]

[sp]oh yeah i remember that. So he was born a normal kid then and Paul/JC (and i suppose a buttload of others) were born using Adams dna. But wouldn't they also need gene therapy then?[/sp]

[sp]Probably not. Paul and JC were created using Jensen's DNA that had already been altered using gene therapy[/sp]
So, I was thinking.
Halo = 10 Years old.
Deus Ex = 10 years old.
Halo = Game millions have played, over and over, Series is doing quite well.
Deus Ex = not exactly the most known game on the market.
Halo = Not exactly held in high regard for most serious gamers
Deus Ex = Considered to be one of the best PC games of all time
Halo = graphics aren't even that bad
Deus Ex = Not exactly perfect.
Yet Halo's getting a remake. Why can we not have an HD Deus Ex remake? It's a crime. It's a game so good, and it's not known well enough. I hope HR does well enough to warrant a possible remake.

Rolling this up as I view it:
[sp]- Adam was a genetic experiment. I don't think the White Helix guys were his flesh-and-blood parents. They probably needed a shitload of babies to mutate in different areas until they hit the jackpot. May be cloning, but that sounds really expensive when there's tons of babies nobody wants
- I do however think they felt like parents and started having regret and wanted to save at least one life and then be fucking done with it, so they burnt down everything except for the one thing they did right for once
- The Dentons have variants of Adam's DNA because of its compatibility with augs. I don't think they're identical, but they're close enough to be considered brothers.
- Their fake MJ12 parents "died in a car accident"[/sp]
I literally can't play the original Deus Ex. It's just too dated. I'm sorry. It plays like a shitty FPS RPG, compared to new games with much smoother controls and UIs.
Human Revolution engine remake would own.

Why are people clamouring for a remake of Deus Ex 1?
Why ruin the fond memories of so many people by possibly injecting modern gameplay elements and "innovations" into an old PC game?
Why tell the exact same story with the exact same characters when you could introduce new story arcs and characters with new games and episodes?

Halo is more compatible with the modern market and you can make more dosh off of it.
You wouldn't want a Deus Ex remake (exception: if a fan makes it). Trust me. Some suit would order even the most dedicated devs to make it more like those shooters that actually sold well. Just look at the Modern FPS input on Human Revolution. I bet you they could've fit in a few medkits next to the beer and whatnot.

I feel you, I had to force myself through the graphics myself. But once I got into the cheesy plot and I stopped caring about the graphics. That was like 50-70% into the game tho.
I don't regret a second of playtime tho. The multipath is still excellent.

I really meant a straight up HD remake. No gameplay additions. The new halo doesn't have gameplay changes.
