Deus Ex: Human Revolution V3 - I Never Asked For This

The jump and climbing physics in this game are bizarre, but they work well
[sp]Anyone else disappointed you never got to see Jensen rage at Megan for being a whore at the end? She does say she'll talk about it later iirc.[/sp]
Also, I'd really love to see some great big sarif industries posters, with no game logos or anything, I'd get a company to print some given I had some nice ultra high resolution images.
yeah it feels stiff and everything but it's clear that when you fall it's your own fault

[sp]In my opinion Jensen's the asshole here. I mean Megan tried to apologize and explain herself a lot of time, even right at the beginning of the game, and Jensen just downright yelled at her. I wouldn't even been surprised if he bitchslapped her at the occasion[/sp]
[sp]Oh no it's her fault for being kidnapped and couldn't tell Jensen she was okay[/sp]

Well, that was just a bad moment, Pritchard kind of got in the way at that point
Also I love how she gets mad at you when you read her emails.

[sp]I said it before, but I'm still a firm believer of the theory that Megan is married to SCIENCE and dumped the convenient walking Patient X tissue sample once she was ready to wrap up and go to the press. She isn't stone cold, but she's still very willingly works for the Big Bad with the free cappuccino makers.[/sp]
Also, could you guys help a slowpoke out?
[sp]Rambo runthrough has the benefit of clear rooms so I could do a bit more exploration - what exactly is the point of Moonbase Omega? Aside from being cut content I mean. It's only briefly mentioned in one eBook and a Picus employee has a good laugh at James Bond villain style stuff. Then, among other simulations, you see a fake CGI of the Moonbase complex in the rendering (in a rather large room before the second boss; there's a security panel there, too)
Does that mean the thing is fake after all? If so, what's the point of faking its existence? If it isn't fake, then what does this CGI mean? They had a similar screen for shopping in a big mech for some "Mexican Drug War", so I doubt this is CGI because Picus has cameras in every sink and toilet - just none for pretty Moonbase Omega footage for a coverage.
I guess the obvious answer is Eidos Montreal didn't cut it out properly, but just in case I'm to thick or missed some dialogue, please enlighten me.[/sp]
[sp]The moon base is known to exist in Deus Ex 1 as said in the Deus Ex Bible (link below), and a mission was supposed to happen here, which included the very first scrap of the concept of Benevolent Dictator, which was used much later in the game as an ending. The screens on Deus Ex HR about the moon base are more likely to be easter eggs.[/sp]
"I never asked for this" "I never had a choice what happened to me"
THATS BULLSHIT.
You asked for it, and you had a choice of what happened to you when you filed an application to work at a place that is ran by A BRONY.
Also guys, you know THIS video?:

I have the strangest urge to put that video in after effects, and add Sarif's face over the light blue player, and the faces of the 3 different bosses on the other players.

[sp] I don't necessarily mean watch Jensen just bitch at her. I mean I wish there was some more character/relationship development between the two. A lot of questions are left at the end and Megan just disappearing to work on the D project or w/e just seems pretty weak.
Also, I raged at the end of the TYM level when they pull that "people underestimate women" bullshit. Jensen would not act like that, I fucking hate it when games companies define characters behaviour in cut scenes - totally out of player control.[/sp]

Deus Ex isn't a game where you're supposed to decide your character's mentality, but only his behavior. As said in the game's making of in the augmented edition, the devs tried to give Jensen a proper character by making him "as good as he can possibly be without being bad".
If you want to have total control upon your character's behavior AND mentality, just play some TES.

I didn't like that either, I mean [sp]Adam could have at least had a good grip on her wrist instead of letting her go behind him like that.[/sp] At least you get to take out your rage on those Storm Tro- Belltower twits afterward.

[sp]It's just somewhat unrealistic, given the setting, infiltrating a hostile building and the person in question, the CEO/Evil ruler ("Dragon Queen" iirc) of TYM, I think the fucking chief of security would be on his guard somewhat. Instead he acts like some kind of dumbstruck retard. It just makes me face palm to think this is supposed to be the same person who snuck past all kinds of security measures just to be owned by some bitch acting all innocent. Besides like I said, his behaviour is what is wrong here.[/sp]

Erm, who is the chief of security?
[editline]13th September 2011[/editline]
And where is he?

Adam is Chief of Security for Sarif Industries.
[sp]If you think about it, it makes sense. He just got out of six months of recovery and lost his girlfriend. I doubt he'd still be able to be doubtful towards a distressed woman after that.
I love the line that ensues the cutscene though, with Jensen shouting "That bitch's got a panic room !" and Sarif answering "Jensen, I have got a panic room."[/sp]
Jensen is unfamiliar with panic rooms as he is the only one in the entire building without a panic room in his office.
I still love how he indirectly insulted his boss though.
Also [sp]am I the only one who punched Taggart's prick face at the arctic station ?[/sp]
Soooo I was digging up dirt on Mr. Sarif, and I found this.

I guess it pays off to have 2 of the same degree from two different schools.
I'd love to know if he has the same obnoxious accent as the ingame Sarif does.
Seriously this guy talks like he's always exhausted.

I was just thinking that
I love the way he talks
I fancy trying the original Deus Ex, and invisible war. Is IW the next chronologically, if so, is it worth playing that one next for continuity?
I checked some of the videos.
He sounds like what DS of SI would sound like if he didn't have lung cancer.

What are you talking about.
it goes Human Revolution, DX1, and then Invisible War
What the fucks an Invisible War
I fancy trying the original Deus Ex, and invisible war. Is IW the next chronologically, if so, is it worth playing that one next for continuity?
It goes like this :
2027 - Deus Ex human revolution
2052 - Deus Ex
2070 - Deus Ex Invisible War
Though IW comes after the first episode, it's much easier because the game was designed for consoles and had much smaller levels with much simpler level design (basically, go to your left to get an assault rifle and kill bad guys, go to your right to get a silenced pistol and climb into an air duct).
I suggest that if you wish to play for pure challenge, you start with IW then the first game. If you wish to play for the story otherwise, go chronologically.

As he was [sp]holding her wrist, he should've kept a good grip on it. So, if she tried escaping he could tighten that grip up until he got information out of her.[/sp]

He sounded a little drunk at times ha ha
Anyone have a link for that graphics mod that was linked a while back? I can't seem to find it.
wait if Gabe said that he gave the Deus Ex team bad advice does that mean hes the reason why invisible war is considered shit :tinfoil:
