He changed the codes, there's a new challenge. Don't post it here, PM a screenshot of it to AcidLeak.
I would have, but everything is broken as fuck. I already found the new code for my new username, and it doesn't work. So might as well post about it here. [editline]14th September 2011[/editline] Looking through the page's source code right now to try to figure it out, including the source for Exler.JS Not sure if I will find anything conclusive.

It's not broken at all. I've tested it multiple times, and many people here were able to get through. There are on occasion glitches, but I have no idea what's causing them. [editline]13th September 2011[/editline] also it's not in exler.js
// awww come on man that's just not right // don't cheat
I take it I'm looking in the right part of the script for how the code is generated. Can't find any constant numbers in the script though. I'll give it a better look tomorrow.
you still don't get it do you
Finally got the chance to purchase Human Revolution. Went with the Augmented Edition, and I am incredibly excited to get to play it!
Derp. I've been trying the base64 password thing and it doesn't work. Only to realize that was before the update... [editline]13th September 2011[/editline] Really not much of a hacker. I think I'd rather just have some augs to hack in.
Yeah this is going to be a bitch to figure out how the password generator script functions right now while I'm half asleep looking at a wall of javascript.
fine I'll start working on the hacking minigame so you people can actually get in :v: [editline]13th September 2011[/editline] anyone happen to have some screenshots and/or a video?

Acid, do you plan on making it to work as a replacement for the windows logon?
MzQuMTAuMzQuMzk= that decodes to 4 numbers what is this witchcraft
I don't understand this.
Acid, do you plan on making it to work as a replacement for the windows logon?
there's no way to do it without learning a whole new language, and I don't plan on doing that ask someone who knows how to do it and maybe I'll help them
I decoded the user name and discovered it was an IP address located on an island between the UK and Ireland... Am I close or just being an idiot?
I'm stuck on the Tai Yong Medical, because my Xbox controller is fucked. I didn't ask for this.
I decoded the username and got an IP address too
IP Address: 23.10.6.1 Hostname: a23-10-6-1.deploy.akamaitechnologies.com IP Country: United States IP Country Code: USA IP Continent: North America IP Region: Massachusetts Guessed City: Cambridge IP Latitude: 42.3626 IP Longitude: -71.0843 Organization: ISP Provider:
what does this meeeaaan [editline]14th September 2011[/editline] I take it that disagree means it's not an IP address at all. Huh.
Is there definitely a mathematical equation involving the 4 numbers required to figure out the password? [editline]14th September 2011[/editline] And to be more on-topic, finished the game a while ago with a mixture of passive and aggressive, playing through the original Deus Ex right now so I can go back through HR and see what I didn't get.
Seriously people it's not hard. edit: Here's what you do: [sp] 1) open web page 2) place mouse arrow over the 'SECURITY ACCESS REQUIRED' text; this will reveal the correct semantics for the BASE64 code 3) Copy newly revealed BASE64 Code 4) Open new web page: http://home2.paulschou.net/tools/xlate/ 5) Paste BASE64 code into corresponding text box 4) Decode. 5) Read numbers from 'text' text box. 6) Dunno what to do now he changed it :( [/sp]

Ah, I should probably learn to read. Anyway, most of it still applies.
do we really need to keep talking about that i thought this was the deus ex thread
edited my post, I will find the solution. [editline]14th September 2011[/editline]
do we really need to keep talking about that i thought this was the deus ex thread
The discussion was getting a bit stale; the same things being talked about. What's wrong with a deus ex theme distraction?
Okay back on-topic: Anybody else shocked that Pritchard knew when you went into the women's bathroom?
Okay back on-topic: Anybody else shocked that Pritchard knew when you went into the women's bathroom?
You have a tracker on you like most of the Sarif Industries scientists. I'd imagine that the tracker was easy to install on one of your augments, so I wasn't terribly surprised.
Okay back on-topic: Anybody else shocked that Pritchard knew when you went into the women's bathroom?
Kinda saw it coming as a similar thing happened quite famously in the first deus ex.
Login thingy hack, for the lazy ones [sp]Decode the username, multiply the numbers and encode it back, bam you're in.[/sp]
Whoah, sorry, I thought I clicked on the Deus Ex: Human Revolution megathread.
Whoah, sorry, I thought I clicked on the Deus Ex: Human Revolution megathread.
Hey man, chill with us, we're cool. :( We sometimes play DXHR as well.
I kind of like the crossbow but if it didn't have that unrealistic though at times funny push force it would a great substitute for the pre-order silenced sniper rifle.
