These NSF Terrorists always seem to know exactly where I am the second I stand up.

If you move while standing, your footsteps make noise that nearby enemies will react to. If you want to stay quiet, stay crouched while you move. There's also an aug that you can find fairly early that quietens your footsteps, if you so choose.
I have a feeling swimming has no use and you guys were willing to lie to me :v:
It's kay, but I've really never played this and I would like some help very much.
Actually upgrade swimming ONCE. If you don't you will lose significant amounts of health from oxygen depravation at a point early in the game.

Eh, I think upgrading Environmental Training and using the rebreathers is better since you can use the hazmat suits, camo, and bulletproof vests.

Rebreathers require inventory slots.
A skill doesn't.
So I saw this gif and couldn't help but think "Deus Ex":

Holy goddamn, Incredibly well done. Thanks a ton for that.
On the topic of HR, I wonder how many plot characters you can kill in the full game. You seem to be able to kill everyone outside of the Sarif building in the leak, but I'm not sure about the full game.
Poor Spekter, he's been gone for 2 weeks :(
Don't you think we should give him a chance to explain himself? He's been with UNATCO for 300 years.
Nice to know you cared so much about Paul. Or Alex, or Tong, or Carter, or Jamie...

IT WAS A HYPERBOLE FORGIVE ME ;-;
I pre-ordered from GMG, and from what I've read we will get our keys on release date or possibly earlier for pre-loading on Steam.
Cheers, mate, thought I was going blind when I couldn't find it in the receipt e-mail.
I sort of freak a bit when my granma tells me that she had metal stapples to hold her knee skin in place back in the days, aka, kinda freak a bit about "metal on skin" phobia, but FFS, I WISH I could have Jensen's "sunglasses like" aug. Their soo fucking cool.
I had metal rods in my arm when I broke it; still got the scars.

Sorry for what I've said bro, I was just joking, don't kill me. :saddowns:
There's something about metal/plastic body parts that I really like, it just looks really awesome to me.
I might start a new run of Deus Ex where the JC I'm playing is an incompetent buffoon - I'll blunder around and do dumb stuff like kill the NSF leader in the statue and forget about the hostage situation and Ambrosia.

Don't ignore the hostages - just throw a LAM in there.

Nah, I like the idea of JC just being oblivious to everything that's going on and getting chewed out by Paul and Navarre later.

Okay so just wander blindly into the laser tripmines.
"There is too much in your inventory to carry that!"
*Drop a bunch of stuff
"You found: COMBAT KNIFE!"

Thank god they separated looting and dragging bodies in HR.
Apart from the DX10 renderer, New vision and Deus Ex Enhanced what mods do you guys recommend for Deus ex?

I heard some people say that The Shifter is a nice mod.
Shifter is a nice subtle mod. Fixes things and improves a bit here and there.
Umm Shifter and Enhanced seem to be fucking each other up. Help?
I just use Shifter, drops less effective combat weapons, fixes a few graphical issues and gives xp for flushing toilets.
Umm Shifter and Enhanced seem to be fucking each other up. Help?
Uninstall one of them.

Install Enhanced after Shifter. Read the readmes.
In Steam i just clicked Deus Ex Human Revolution like if i was going to buy it, and there is a trailer and a little text:
" You play Adam Jensen, a security specialist, handpicked to oversee the defense of one of America’s most experimental biotechnology firms. But when a black ops team uses a plan you designed to break in and kill the scientists you were hired to protect, everything you thought you knew about your job changes."
Black ops team uses a plan you designed ?? this wasn't on the Leak right?? Also it looks like Eidos Montreal listened to all the ppl in their forums bitching about the game forcing you to play stealthy, in order to max experience, cuz the trailer that is on steam enphasizes 3 means of playing the game...what do you guys think??
Max xp on leak was ghosting (500 xp) and taking everyone out stealthy right?
Edit: also lol at the trailer guy using lots of augs at first mission :D
Ghosting the level is the hardest way to do it though, sounds fair to me.
Well for me too, but ppl always find thousands of reasons to complain.
