Am I the only person who got the [sp]biochip upgrade[/sp] but didn't find the last boss battle difficult? It probably took a little longer since [sp] you get your augs disabled and I couldn't afford to be hit very much[/sp] but by that point I had the explosive round upgrade for the revolver so he went down pretty quick...
[sp]I got endlessly destroyed, I just found the boss so hard because you couldn't just shoot at him directly or else he'll practically instant kill you with his plasma rifle thing, I got the biochip upgrade but realized that it was a bad idea almost immediately, but it was too late[/sp]
So has anyone labelled all the voices in the intro?
The voices are all modified, good luck finding who they are.
I was wondering that can you cheat more augmentations/weapons+ammo or anything? Because the game has no replay value for me unless I can get at least 20 augmentation points for starters and the shit that I want. But I don't think so? I think it'd be cool if you could get more augments etc if you play again after finishing the game
There's a trainer that gives you XP/Praxis, go nuts.
Yeah but they cost right? I did visit merchants, like the chinese one it was the best, they sold computer viruses and stun gun darts! Also the limb clinics obviously, always bought 2 praxises.

Download it and run it at the same time as the game and you can give yourself XP with the press of a button.
No, I mean a trainer program. A cheat. Download it and run it at the same time as the game and you can give yourself XP with the press of a button.
Can it give weapons too?

Boss spoilers :) [sp]Getting into the loop of the first boss is hiding behind a wall until he stops shooting. The boss battles REALLY did suck, the second one I though was pretty retarded, I beat it by kiting her over mines but it felt really lame. If she didn't trigger the mine she'd just run at me and 1 shot me with the typhoon; assuming I didn't dodge around a wall. For the final one I just shot him with the explosive revolver (since I had no augments :P), but again it felt really lame because I could only take 1 shot and it felt like just getting a lucky run where he doesn't shoot ahead of me in such a way that I run into the bullet.[/sp]
Can it give weapons too?
I don't think so, but it can give infinite ammo and credits, so you can just buy whatever ammo you want. [editline]17th September 2011[/editline] I might fire it up and right now and do an infinite-cloak crossbow-murderer Jensen.
I guess I'm a little(very) late to the party. Can someone explain this whole Janus thing to me? Or point me to where I can start learning about it?

Throw a fuckton of mines? That's how I beat every boss.

Weapons are generally 1 grid shorter in height, and 2 shorter in width. All "small" ammo and mines are 1x1, "large" ammo is 2x1. Energy bar boxes are now 1x1, energy powder jugs are 1x2. Weapon Modkits are all 2x1. All of these mods are fully packaged and ready to use, so you shouldn't need to re-pack them to work with the current version of Gibbed's Debug Menu mod. Anyone got a proper trainer that you can keybind or doesn't use fucking numpad? Tried 6 different and all are numpad only, which is a pain in the ass when my laptop doesn't have it :I
I don't suppose there is a mod that allows 100% crossbow pickup rates Its kind of really stupid that the crossbow is rendered mostly useless with its ultra rare ammo when a bug causes them to break 100% of the time when picking them up (manual says it should break 30% of the time).

I understand the infrequency of rockets and HE grenades, since they're both hugely powerful, and you only get the grenade launcher late-game. But the crossbow works well with the game's stealth aspect. Would've thought they'd put a few more bolts here and there.
[sp]The only boss I thought was good was the third one, and only because my augments were fucked so my screen was all shaky and messed up; it made it all really tense[/sp]
this is how he will beat namir
I'm surprised that a guy playing it on the Xbox with no prior Deus Ex experience would have been able to think of that.

I second that. The debug menu is cheater's dream. But only use it if you beat the game, otherwise it's too easy.

I just wish the HUD hider would work :C
I just wish the HUD hider would work :C
That is true.
So has anyone labelled all the voices in the intro?
The Icarus Effect gives some help with that on its first chapter. It mentions a [sp]Scientist in Singapore with a dry English Accent -> Darrow as his Omega Ranch is in Singapore. Voice from Hengsha -> Zhoa Voice from Paris -> Lucius' protege The others are said to be from Dubia (female), Washington, Hong Kong, New York. And are described as the politician, the thinker, and the businessman. For them I have no idea. One may be Page, representing Majestic 12 [/sp]
Goddammitl, broken Foxiest of The Hounds achievement. Beat the game twice, both times without a single alarm. Nope.
The voice from paris... [sp]Everett?[/sp]
The voice from paris... [sp]Everett?[/sp]
He's in Montreal, isn't he?
Oh my, I got the biochip upgrade.
Oh my, I got the biochip upgrade.
When I was on that part I just unthinkingly followed what the game told me to do, but after actually did it I stopped and thought about it, didn't all those emails I read mean this would exactly be their plan? So I loaded a save and just bought some Praxis kits, didn't get the upgrade.
IS IT BAD THAT I GOT THE BIOCHIP UPGRADE?
