Last frame makes me think of comic versions of Bush.

Just finished it, I found that deus ex human revolution was a good sequel to the original game, invisible war

~so edgy~
Deus Ex reminded me of Mass Effect
I still don't know how...
The dialogue system is somewhat similar, but that's the only resemblance I can see.

I noticed a load of discrepancies to the original plot though.....

Intro is very ME2ish

They've got a lot of blatant influences, Metal Gear is the most prominent but ME series certainly factored in sometimes. IMO, DX had the better intro.

DX1's intro was too revealing.
If you're going to have a conspiracy plot, don't reveal the conspirators instantly!

It worked though. Technically they did the same in DXHR as well just with masked voices.

Thing was, is that I saw Page from the tutorial, I knew he was not an ally anymore, then I saw Simon's later, and knew he was going to be an enemy instantly.
And if you have good enough memory, then you will know Maggie Chow is also an enemy if you pay attention in the intro.
What the fuck is up with his shoulders? This isn't Dragon Ball Z.
...I actually wouldn't mind that.

[sp]I found out she was an enemy when I heard MJ12 troops talking behind her wall when you first meet her.[/sp]

[sp]I heard them while going up the elevator, but instead I thought that we would be raided. But after exploring her apartment I found the DT and left[/sp]
The picture somebody mentioned earlier.

'Unboxing Jensen'.
That image would make more sense if Jensen was passed out drunk and Sarif was trying to get him off the floor, but the way he's smiling is pretty creepy.
It'll be obviously posted as a feature at rule34.paheal.net at the moment, hope it's still down so this pic
won't see the light of day. mu ha.
I started playing this game at 12 today, only stopped just now at 10:30 pm after it crashed. Awesome game.

Ooh, Mister Sarif ooh
[editline]26th September 2011[/editline]
lets do it
yes
fully upgraded silenced pistol was the best.
That uboxing Jensen picture reminded of one thing I wanted to know and that was how his legs looked. They definitely didn't have the chicken feet so I wanted to see how human they actually were. But I think the picture as disturbing as it is might captured the way they could be designed.
Anyway, one story element I hoped to be explained in the game was how [sp]the Illuminati were able to cause the glitches. It's mentioned in the game many times, not every chip is made by the same company. And if they were able to that, why couldn't Zhao press some other button to cause the short glitches in the Namir fight?[/sp] Maybe I missed it but there seems to be no answer to that.
I beat the game yesterday, choose [sp]Darrow's[/sp] ending. I don't believe humanity should lose basic human emotions just so they can do jobs that an AI/Robot is perfectly capable of doing, even if it takes longer.
Decided I would replay it because when I got to the [sp]Namir[/sp] Boss fight, I had the [sp]biochip[/sp], no grenades, little ammo and no dermal armour. I wanted to restart the game anyway. This time around I placed a turret, threw an EMP grenade at him, fired round after round of assault rifle bullets into his stupid face, then I threw frag grenades at him while he was being peppered by my sentry. Felt good.
The [sp]Yefrena[/sp] one was the easiest though, I just got her to run into the generators, then I gassed her twice and threw frag mines. I had 11 Typhoon ammo and I only used it four times. Once during the [sp]convention center[/sp] and three times in [sp]Panchea[/sp] against the [sp]crazies[/sp]. Its a shame you never truly get to test the [sp]plasma[/sp] rifle though.
This and Fallout 3 are hands down the best RPG's Ive ever played.

Except this isn't an RPG.
It's an FPS with RPG elements.
