So it's out, right now? [editline]19th October 2011[/editline] So it is, didn't realise.
14.99$ for the Missing Link DLC... Fuck.
14.99$ for the Missing Link DLC... Fuck.
Not bad for a 4-6 hours singleplayer
-snip-
So.. A few hours into the DLC, exploring, sneaking, shooting everyone that I see. http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/560922580906044910/F8C89FB3D6267BECBA6D45BCCE8361FAA161BEDD/ Not really spoiler-ish screenshot, just incase. "Wat."

Anyone play it yet? It got a favorable review from PC gamer. I've yet to buy itmyself (I likely will, on my 2nd playthrough I am currently at the harbor)
^ I bought it and I'm an hour in.

So wait, I thought there would be no augs? Trailer shows otherwise. ?
So wait, I thought there would be no augs? Trailer shows otherwise. ?
You start with them all de-activated then have to build them back up again. Its possible to do the DLC with no augs and no weapons.
My god, the map is huge in this expansion.
I really want to buy this, but...$15 for DLC is way too much. That's CoD-map-pack-territory right there.
I really want to buy this, but...$15 for DLC is way too much. That's CoD-map-pack-territory right there.
I agree 15 is a bit much, but at least this has more content than a map pack.
I got it because it has way more content and play-ability than most DLC that gets released. Plus I love the game. Anyways, suprised this thread is dead, you'd think ther ewould be most posts with the DLC being out and all
I agree 15 is a bit much, but at least this has more content than a map pack.
I'm weighing it up. On the one hand, more Deus Ex-related purchases mean a better chance of a sequel, and I do adore the series. On the other hand, $15 DLC sets a dangerous precedent.
I completed it twice, however, I still haven't figured out how to [sp]save both the prisoners and Dr. Kavanagh, I found a trauma kit in the ocean lab but I never got to use it anywhere and I looked around and I was unable to find anything that could let you save both. I also missed the data storage for Panchea, where is that?[/sp]
So far spent a couple of hours into it, and just now got access into the hub area. This is a pretty fun DLC! Not to mention it feels like things have some weight. I was going on a "kill everyone" triage on the ship and apparently that seriously affected how the hub section is handled for me, to the point of me needing security access for each section. I assume if I don't kill anyone this doesn't happen.
Anyone know where to find all the parts of the rocket launcher? I'm missing one...
I don't think I killed anyone but I still was given [sp]security access to only one area.[/sp] Maybe it's because I threw the bodies over the side of the ship? [editline]19th October 2011[/editline] Oh yeah, the large map size is easily comparable to that one map in Deus Ex 1 where you had to blow up that ship.
Oh my god, I just reached the end of the main game. I felt so bad for [sp]killing the drones in the Hyron Core, they were shouting that they were in pain. [/sp]Why wasn't there a way to[sp] remove them from the core machine?[/sp] Is there a way to [sp]kill Zhao without killing the drones?[/sp] I'd like to know for my second run.

[/sp] But they were so cold :frown:
I felt that [sp]Shutting off their Life Support was the best thing to do. [/sp] But they were so cold :frown:
I did that without knowing what I was doing. I found a keypad, hacked it, then wondered why they'd stopped crying.. I felt so bad when I realised what I'd done.

Anyone know how to get into Quinn's Shop?
I have a question about the new DLC. I know you access it from the main menu. Does that mean everyone will get the same things in it? Same amount of Praxis kits, weapons etc. Or does it somehow take in account your previous saves?
You start off with nothing.
Yes, I know. But later [sp]you get your gear back and there are 2 ammo boxes. One had about 7 kits and the other stun gun and some ammo. Now I wonder if it changes according to your saves or we always get the same amount.[/sp]
Always the same Its not connected to your main game saves at all
