I completely forgot that the DLC even existed how long has it been out?
I completely forgot that the DLC even existed how long has it been out?
A few weeks.
It's definitely worth it. Not like some other DLCs. I feel bad I never really used the shotgun. It's a very satisfying weapon, but almost useless if you are playing stealthy.
Party fucking hard
Such a nice boxart. Most boxarts look quite cheap (Call of Duty or Batman: Arkham City) or look like not much effort has gone into them. This is the first thing someone will see of your game when they walk into a store or go online, so make it look good.
Yeah, Deus Ex:HR has pretty nice boxart. But I like simple ones, too, if they are done right. For example one that in my opinion was supposed to be simple but really didn't say much about the game was for Dead Space 2. The game is great, but I think they could have spent more time on the cover, too.
atleast thats better than this
Who were those two characters on the cover anyway? They don't actually appear in the game.

Are all of the DLCs worth twenty bucks or should I wait for them to go on sale?
Are all of the DLCs worth twenty bucks or should I wait for them to go on sale?
The only one worth shit is the expansion pack. The weapons pack is a ripoff, I mean they're already in the game. I changed some settings on my config files to get all the weapons, and man are they ALREADY IN THE GAME ON DAY ONE.
Yes, you can get the other DLCs through debug menu. You won't get drops/loot for the DLC items though. So if you need to refill them you will have to use the debug menu again. The Missing Link is worth the money and you can't get it through the debug menu but I think compare to some other games DE:HR have very cheap prices for additional content.

Not really. The slow turning on the lights scared a bit though, because I feared the box guards would activate.
Not really. The slow turning on the lights scared a bit though, because I feared the box guards would activate.
Pfft, just toss some emp grenades/mines around.
I was expecting some sort of miniboss fight in that room against a bunch of assassin-like enemies that could cloak, considering the weird noises in the room during my first playthrough. I wasn't even aware those boxes were boxguards on my first playthrough.
Pfft, just toss some emp grenades/mines around.
I do admit once you learn how EMP grenades can fuck boxguard up they loose a lot of their fear factor. Still, at that point in the game you have I think 1 or 2 EMP grenades so you would have to be careful with them.

It was made before release so I should get it since I payed my money for the entire game (as in everything developed before release).
I guess you are right. On the other hand I'm a bit happy that weapons like the silenced sniper rifle or the grenade launcher aren't in it from the start, because they could make some parts much more easier. Still, all the items, especially the Tong's mission would make the game better.
I finished this game a while back: Ammo. There was not enough ammo. I get limiting ammo so I can't go guns blazing but when I assassinate a guy holding a gun and he has 2 ammo on him IT MAKES ZERO SENSE.
Yeah, I found it illogical, too. I take down a guard without anyone knowing. Two bullets from his gun. But I blame it on the fact the devs most likely wanted DE:HR to be more stealth oriented. So we get small ammo pickups. It didn't bother me much, being the silent player, but it made me realize going all gun blazing is maybe harder than going the undetected way.

I was actually fairly stealthy, but sometimes I came to a room and saw the situation and was like "woah I have a cool idea of how I could take all these guys out with a couple quick shots and a few seconds." >Realize I have no ammo. :(
I never had any ammo problems. In fact, I ended up dropping ammo to make more room in my inventory.

If you were stealthy you sometimes actually have to drop ammo to make room for more important stuff.
