A bomb, a bomb, a bomb, a bomb bomb
So I finally beat the original Deus Ex a few days ago, and I have to say that it's a very good game. The plot and story is pretty deep and really engrossing. I played the game for like 8 hours straight; I don't think I ever done that before. Though I was kinda pissed near the end since [sp]I got jock killed even though I knew there was a bomb, I just didn't know I had to kill/tranquilize that mechanic to get that dialog option.[/sp] Oh well might play it again where I just kill everyone Now I think I'm ready for Human Revolution

I didn't know what to do about the strange mechanic so I just went along with things.
A bomb, a bomb, a bomb, a bomb bomb
I always crack at up at 2:25 OH MY GOD JC A BOMB!!!!!!!
Though I was kinda pissed near the end since [sp]I got jock killed even though I knew there was a bomb, I just didn't know I had to kill/tranquilize that mechanic to get that dialog option.[/sp]
This is exactly how I felt. It seems a bit crude to just go out and kill or knock someone out all of a sudden. I was hoping for some kind of special dialogue with [sp]Everett but no, the game just wants you to kill/knock out the guy and then you get the dialogue with Jock.[/sp]
That was literally the only part of the game I was annoyed by a lack of choices at.
I remember that dialogue we heard on the stream when Alex tells you not to run away from Paul. We were all amazed :v: In regards to why I kept throwing a gas grenade over the wall, if the guy at the desk inside gets gassed he comes running out the door and you can bypass the whole first level like that.
http://deusex.com/facebook New playtesting video unlocked - really interesting look at how they did focus groups and handled feedback.
Only time I've managed to hear that is cheating and using speed enhancer to run past him :v:
Its doable without, I've seen a guy speedrun liberty so I was just trying to do that, get to more interesting sections.

I don't really get what's going on at the police station in HR. He walks in to the lobby and says "What a mess", and everyone has their guns out for no apparent reason.
holy shit I accidentally shoot paul on liberty island and he pulls out a plasma rifle
IGN: Deus Ex: "NO MULTIPLAYER" "STORY IS TOO COMPLEX" "NOT ENOUGH EMPHASIS ON SHOOTING" "NOT VERY ORIGINAL" 4/10 Modern warfare 3: "MULTIPLAYER IS JUST AS GOOD AS THE LAST 5 COD GAMES!" Deus Ex is likely to get a great review from IGN, on its own merits, and so is MW3. The baby game comparison is stupid as fuck, people go into baby genre with a different set of expectations than TPS or FPS or etc genres.
I think I'm going to restart and do a fridge playthrough since it seems like by far the best weapon :v:
So I've been replaying the leak again. Remember how you all said that Malik has big boobs? Well, apparently, I noticed that on every female I encountered. Even Megan's mother. :wtc: [editline]8th August 2011[/editline] 23:33 - Darth GW[h+]³: holy shit guys 23:33 - Darth GW[h+]³: I went to the toilet 23:33 - Darth GW[h+]³: standing there having a piss 23:33 - By Azura[h+]³: and there was a riot 23:33 - Darth GW[h+]³: and I used my dick muscles in such a way 23:33 - Darth GW[h+]³: that I almost shit myself 23:33 - Jerichoholic[h+]³: uhm 23:33 - Jerichoholic[h+]³: uhh 23:33 - Jerichoholic[h+]³: sometimes I fart when I piss 23:33 - Darth GW[h+]³: what the fuck did i do 23:33 - Jerichoholic[h+]³: that's about it 23:34 - Jerichoholic[h+]³: 23:33 - Jerichoholic[h+]³: sometimes I fart when I piss FP DE TC chat in a nutshell 23:34 - Jerichoholic[h+]³: brb posting in the thread.
Just watched an IGN review for Ghost Trick. Their negative point? "Too Wordy". [editline]8th August 2011[/editline] "The story is entertaining but sometimes you just want to tell the game to shut up and let you play". I hate it when they miss the point like that.
if only the game revolved around boring Cold War era fear of russian/chinese nukes, maybe then they'd be willing to sit and listen to the terrible, drawn out story with no deep meaning (glares at call of duty reviews)
Woah shit I just noticed that I updated Jensen Adventures only one time today. And I don't have a single fact to back up why. I'm a terrible person. [editline]9th August 2011[/editline] Rate agree.

I want to write a story for DX to contribute. Give me a plot.
I want to write a story for DX to contribute. Give me a plot.
Deus Ex: Hermann Revelations. "You play Gunther Hermann, one of UNATCO's top agents, handpicked to oversee the use of one of America's most used vending machines. But when a team of maintenance men use a plan you designed to juryrig the machine to give you lemon lime instead of oh-range and make you extremely uncomfortable, everything you thought you knew about your beverage of choice changes."
I'll get write on it.
I'll get write on it.
Include a romance with an orange vending machine.
Good idea.
Good idea.
Put it on Fanfiction.net and let's do a crossover.

If you want to make enemies, mess with the vending machine. [editline]8th August 2011[/editline] The maintenance man has more power than the government.
Playing through the first Deus Ex with DX10 and the New Vision texture pack makes me wish that the HDTP didn't die.
