The BBFC have publicised their Extended Classification Information on DXHR: [sp]]DEUS EX: HUMAN REVOLUTION is a science fiction action game played from the first-person perspective. The player assumes the role of Adam Jensen, a 'biologically augmented' warrior whose body has been updated with various technological improvements. The game was classified '15' for strong bloody violence and strong language. The BBFC's Guidelines at '15' state 'Violence may be strong but should not dwell on the infliction of pain or injury. The strongest gory images are unlikely to be acceptable'. DEUS EX: HUMAN REVOLUTION contains frequent violence during normal gameplay. Although blood sprays from enemies when they are shot, it is not possible to dismember enemies, whether they are dead or alive. Much of the action is seen from a distance, which removes the opportunity to dwell on the infliction of pain or injury. It is possible to shoot enemies after death but, although blood is shown spraying out, there is no injury detail of any kind on the bodies of the victims. Certain special moves can be triggered in which Jensen stabs enemies with retractable blades, but again there is little dwelling on the injuries inflicted. The game also features occasional strong language. The Guidelines at '15' state 'There may be frequent use of strong language (for example, 'fuck')'. The game also contains infrequent sex references. A motion comic included with the game contains the dialogue, "You whacking off over those bitches again?", as a guard talks to a colleague who appears to be lying down but who has actually been shot. During the game itself there is a level in which Jensen visits a brothel. He agrees to help one of the prostitutes who complains that the girls are being pressured into getting 'augmented' purely for the pleasure of their clients. However, the focus of the gameplay is on Jensen choosing whether or not to help the woman in question, rather than on any erotic charge in the scenario itself.[/sp] http://www.bbfc.co.uk/ADM279729/
Dude spoiler tag that it describes the ending scene finale at the [sp]Brothel[/sp]
I wanted to reply to that like "thank fuck I didn't read that". I forgot the fucking reply system. [editline]19th August 2011[/editline] Bye thread, not visiting until game completed.
I will be gonne when its released in the US, because then shit really hits the fan
Bought it, sold the items for Red Orchestra 2. Two games for the price of one.
What the shit, why can't I find some idiot to buy me a game for the items?! Anyone wanna buy me Killing Floor in exchange for the TF2 Items?
BBFC classifications are always infested with spoilers. [editline]19th August 2011[/editline] The entire game is really about Jensen hunting down [sp]an insidious worldwide prostitution ring[/sp] intent on monopolizing [sp]vagina and breast augmentations[/sp]
