From my experience, YouGamers is a little more accurate than CanIRunIt.

At this point you can kind of tell this game shouldn't be played for the singleplayer story experience, but instead the fun of killing zombies with your friends.

General consensus so far:
An amazing open world zombie game held back by graphical glitches and clunky menus. (Consoles only on the menu problem.) It's a game you cannot miss.
Did anyone else feel like Xian Mei's back story was tagged on WAY after initial development? It just sounds like an excuse to give her a weapon skill. I was fine with her original story, wanting to travel. Now she is a cop/spy that wants to honor her father? Come one. Either way, I'm still picking her, I just found the added backstory unnecessary.
I want a versus mod... Imagine freeroam with the possibility to play one of those special zombies and ruin the other peoples games.

I have an awful hard time choosing between purna and logan.. I would love the skilltree of purna put on logans character since I like to be a man in this game, mainly for the more strengh feel/looks.

We get it. You hate playing as women because they don't make you feel manly and the Asian one has unsatisfactory legs? And you hate playing as black people because they're black. You want to play as the white guy because he's the only one you feel comfortable with and he doesn't have the skills you like.

:v: Maybe that's just that german nazi blood I have inside me. I also posted that link, but it was poorly organized and poorly written by some 13 year old sadly that's why I ask if there is a better list.

Well this game prooves that I am secretly an neo-nazi.. I am hilarious dumb and silly on the character picking :v: I have problems with black hands, thin legs, black girls.
I think they will deliver DLC of some sort with new characters new arenas and maybe new quests, this game haves all ability to be extended without lots of people crying because 10 Dollars is to much for content.. well that's what I atleast think :smile:
Eurogamer gave it a 6, hope RPS says something soon.
What were the reasons for such a low score?
Well the (written) Destructoid review was basically exactly what I felt like when I was watching gameplay -- fun, but flawed. So it'll at least live up to my expectations.
Gametrailers also posted their [url=http://www.gametrailers.com/video/review-dead-island/720225]review,[/url] and they gave it a favorable score. Actually, the best score yet, I think. Though I'm not a big fan of Gametrailers, so I normally take what they say with a significant grain of salt.
There's 15 reviews up on metacritic, 75 is the average.
