Also to find a coupon code I had to dig through this thread, to get my referral link I had to visit a profile page on the GMG site. Regardless, here's a coupon code which most people probably know which will discount it to $34: READY-UPDEA-ISLAN I purchased Dead Island less than 12 hours ago using the code so it should still work.

Can anyone say if this game is going to be worth playing, it looks like a mix between Dead Rising 2 and Borderlands, two of which are in my top 10 favorite videogames of all time, but I am still not sure if it is going to be good. I wanna preorder it on steam before it comes out so I can download it tonight and play it after school tomorrow. I feel like I will be taking a large risk if I buy it though.

The only major problems appear to be some animation/graphics issues and a lackluster story.

I used a referral link however and I got it. You have to sign up the account with the referral link once and your future purchases will be credited accordingly. You don't get 5$ just for shopping there however. Your brother probably used someone elses link or clicked yours unknowingly since all it does it refer you to the homepage. Unless this was a long time ago and their systems have changed, I made an a few days ago and I did not receive and bonus on my purchase of Dead Island. I made another one today using a referral link and I was credited.
