i love the game. so what if it has bugs like that, just dont use them. the only problem i have had so far is connection issues every now any then and rage crashed to desktop :(

Switching to single player seemed to fix my serious lag issue. That's...odd.

From my first hour with this game, playing single player, I have to say it's been quite enjoyable. The game looks beautiful (though my eyes really don't like the bloom), and overall I've only crashed once. Not bad for a dev build. The combat also feels very fluid, which is good especially when they focused on melee. When the real release version is out, I'm sure the game will be much better, but as it is now, it's still worth it.
I don't have the game yet, but I was wondering if it had split screen for consoles.
I googled it but I'd like to get a confirmation since the game is actually out now.
Was just wondering, but does the beautiful trailer music play in the game at all?
It reminds me of borderlands.

(I know the dutch accent isn't the most beautifull either but, face it.)
Played for about three hours just now. Then it crashed, but I highly suspect that was a problem with Steam since Steam crashed at the same time. Really, it works shockingly well for a dev version, and I honestly would not have known that I was playing one unless I read about it before hand.
There's a little bit of stutter -- I normally run at around 50 FPS or so, but occasionally the game will just pause for 3 or 4 seconds -- but on the whole I haven't run into any big issues. Combat is fantastic, as expected. Most of the time, it's very atmospheric as well... until you start considering how absurd it is that you'll drink energy drinks and eat snacks no matter where you found them, including in blood-soaked bathrooms. :v:
Also, I pre-ordered from Greenman, but I seem to have gotten the Ripper. Don't know if that's a glitch or something, but I'm not going to complain.

Did you get the recipe for it somehow? It's not a pre-order exclusive so you could have obtained the schmatics legitimately.

I got it as soon as I started playing. Just said "You got the Ripper schematics!" or something, and bam I had them.

Also what's this I hear about SPUF raging? I'd look into it but that place just.. eugh, it screams ignorance to me most times, that and I can't be arsed to go search through all the shit posts.

Basically, just a bunch of people whining that it's a "console port wahhhhhh!" They call fucking EVERYTHING a console port. I shit you not. Go to any recent major release's forum and "console port wahhhhh! i demand a refund! wahhh!" It's just painful.

Seriously, people say that Facepunch can be full of elitist dicks a lot of the time, and that may be very true, but it's nothing compared to SPUF.
They are basically the definition of "obnoxious over-entitlement", and think that the only reason anything gaming-related is bad is because of consoles, even when it is blatantly not the case.
Although I do really want to know how the fuck Techland managed to completely miss the fact that they released the wrong build to the public.

well I am a little bit disappointed after I watched the gameplay, since it is totally different from what I saw at the official trailer.

SPUF aren't elitist, they're just idiots. I've never seen a community more elite than /v/, who has actual members that think RO is casual because rifles are "one-shot" kills.

This is fair, but I think I usually try to block 4chan out of my memory a lot of the time, so SPUF is more or less the next worst thing.
