Hopefully the patch fixed problems I have with the game.
Okay, I got the launch patch about an hour ago. Noclip no longer works and my save got wiped so I had to restart. And now I don't have any of the preorder bonuses. What is life

People chill out until they release the proper version, and then just start a new game. One days worth of playing can't be that bad to start over from cmon.

I'm usually on the devs side as it's a very very hard job with room for a lot of fuckups but

This game is the equivalent of a damp flannel.
My keybord is a QWERTY and god is it annoying in games (Like RO2) where the standard combination of doing symbols (?*.,: etc) gets re-binded. Tough most of the time it works in RO2.
My game freezes about about a second every minute or two. I don't know how to fix it.
Alright I'm 8-9% into the game. Thoughts;
-Combat is decidedly better than I expected.
-The zombies are actually a decent enemy to fight.
-Vehicles mix things up a bit.
-Still debating whether or not I should have bought Space Marine instead

also i adjusted my gamma to make it darker (to correct the gamma so DEAD ISLAND was barely visible), but it seems my screenshots come out slightly darker than the actual game i think
also adjusting the gamma fixes the colour banding and shit btw
the default setting is just too bright is all.
My brother just got home and is trying to decrypt the game. But he keeps getting the "Steam servers are too busy" message. Anyone know of any ways to fix this?
