My game ran fine last night, now every 30 seconds or so it freezes completely for 2 or 3 seconds, and it's just really buggy. It lags if I'm walking around, but when i stand still in look around I get like 100 FPS. It even freezes in the menus. My computer is only 1 month old... and runs other games fine (for those lame people who blame people's problems on their computer)
I sure hope they do fix this. It seems entertaining.
Same problem since the patch this morning.
[sp]no, he eventually gets sicks and you finish the quest[/sp]
I hope that's not a big spoiler because you didn't spoilertag it.
Game is really fucking up now. Y to noclip dosent work, the hatch in the lifeguard tower is shut and i cant open it from the top, characters are missing, overall disaster.

is this about right?
Game isn't even worth playing anymore. If you play your character goes back to the start but you keep all your weapons which sucks.

Actually if you leave the hotel it strips you of all your weapons. So you are just stuck with your levels and a paddle.
I'm just going to restart later.

it takes away your weapons after you finish the prologue.
Game isn't even worth playing anymore. If you play your character goes back to the start but you keep all your weapons which sucks.
Just wait for them to release the proper version and you will be all good.
I restarted, and honestly it's not so bad. Since you keep all your levels, it's not nearly as tiresome and starting completely over. Of course, I was only two chapters in... if you'd made it past Act 1 or something, then yeah it might be more troublesome.
Oh god, this bloom. I was playing for like 20 minutes and I had to stop because I nearly threw up.

I found these.
This better be sorted out by friday.
I'm just....just going to go lay down for a little while. I don't feel so good.
I love the game I just wish they'd fix it.
I haven't got the game yet but can anyone tell me what's so fucked with the game?
I want to know.
I found this.

Ain't the bloom alone making you sick man, it's the BLURRY bloom.
I had the exact same problem with The Parish map in L4D2, blur and bloom just should not be mixed.
But can anyone tell me if there's any way to set your FoV? Or what the default FoV is?

It was fine for me, then they patched it and now I can't even do any quests. And my DLC won't work if I start a new character.
The only thing I want them to fix right away is the damn obvious problem of the game resetting everytime you fucking load it
I just wish they would fix the "freeze for 2 seconds every 30 seconds"

Same problem.
Wow, holy shit, this damn stuttering. When I was playing the dev version earlier today, there was some pretty bad stuttering -- like, every 2 or 3 minutes the game would pause for a few seconds, play, pause, play, pause, play and then go back to normal.
Well, I started playing the patched version and for the first hour or so it ran great, and I though I had escaped the stuttering. NOPE. After that first hour, the stuttering came back except a million times worse -- non-stop, pause for three seconds then play for a second, then pause for three seconds then play for a second, repeat ad infinitum. It's entirely unplayable at this point.

Fuck developers that release unfinished products to the public. Honestly. This makes me so angryyyy.
So is this just happening to people who bought it from Steam, or any digital version?
I'm wondering if the retail copies are fine.
Mine still hasn't got here but I'm eager to see how it plays.

i like how you have to make sure to kill zombies on the floor. when you forget it scares you a bit when they come up from behind you, its fun.

Mine actually runs very stable with fps, no stuttering at all and at 130fps all times on maximum (atleast thats what fraps says) anyway the only crash i had was activating fury mode :(

It registers to Steam, so there's no difference.

Well when it's not stuttering, I get 50-60 FPS I think. (Haven't checked with FRAPS, maybe I should.) It's just that it pauses all the damn time.
Yeah, can I have the basic dev build back? It ran fine for me and didn't fuck up my save file. Now, after whatever they did to it while I was asleep, I lost hours of gameplay. I think I'm just gonna leave the game alone for a bit and wait until later today or tomorrow to play again, hopefully then it will be unfucked.
I'm fine with these glitches, still having loads of fun :P
Retail is also the dev build.
i take it that xbox360 and ps3 have the dev build then?
