Same here been playing as Purna for awhile now and I haven't seen a single gun. Starting to regret choosing her.
Holy shit fists are overpowered. I literally killed a full-health thug at level 12 with a single punch.

Try jump kicking, it is much more effective than normal kicking.
Tried this for like 10 minutes and the combat feels so weird. I'll have to adjust settings more but I doubt it'll help much

Kicking is overpowered, I mean you can keep five zombies down going in a full circle dealing damage and you don't lose stamina.
I got a revolver from some Hispanic dude. I was on the way to the gas station to get juice when we stopped at the hotel plaza. I asked my friends to pull over and checked a cop car, found 15 bullets. I was fucking stunned.

It's just a pretty badass element I haven't seen before. Also that was the first ammo I've gotten in 6 hours so I'm cherishing it.

Yeah I'm amazed they didn't add a stamina drain to kicking.
My friend's and I are bringing street justice to Banoi by kicking zombies with rapid succession.
The patch today enormously improved my game performance, so I'm pleased. I haven't encountered any stutterer that was occurring nonstop yesterday. However, my game will happen to pause for a second or two, but resume at smooth framerate, which while annoying doesn't impede my play through.
Planning on beating the game single player by myself first, then hopefully the multiplayer is in more stable shape.
Also, this game is pretty damn awesome. It really cherry picks the best elements of Left 4 Dead and Dead Rising, and as a result I'd almost say it's more enjoyable then either of those two games in certain aspects. Aside from that, the only game I can relate it to is Condemned for the 360, because of the heavy emphasis on melee combat.
Is this game safe to buy now? I want it, but is it still dev version? Also is the game good at all?

It's still pretty buggy for most people if that's what you're wondering. It seems that if you play on singleplayer mode that it clears most of it up though.
In general though, yeah it's a really good game. Combat is fun, plenty of sidequests and the game really keeps you scavenging for supplies which makes you explore a lot.
Is the game world big enough to encourage random exploration?

Yeah I've found myself wandering off from where I'm going many times to go check something out or scavenge for stuff like weapons, parts, and energy drinks and it's fun because there's a lot of scripted events around that also encourage exploration.
