So after having a go of the game I must say I'm thoroughly impressed. First off I haven't experienced any of the issues the PC versions apparently have so nothing to complain about there. There are loads of side missions which are actually not the same "Yo dawg go get this shit then come back" sort of missions. They vary between escorting survivors to finding possessions and even getting a Russian girl drunk off her face. I'm also enjoying the wide range of weapons(Except for the strangely named frightening stick) that can be upgraded and modified for your tastes. The island is bloody massive and within 3 hours I've still only uncovered a small percentage of the map so I'm looking forward to what secrets await me.
The story doesn't seem to be award winning however and I've barely taken any notice to it. In all honesty I must admit this was definitely worth waiting for and here I am sat in my Dead Island shirt and I want to kill more zombies.

Also I forgot to mention for some reason the Bloodbath DLC Code I received cannot be activated thanks to the developers. This is currently an issue with all retailers.

There doesn't really have to be much story imo, they want to get off the island asap, thus drama shit isn't good.

Yes, make sure you get that update or else your game will lag like hell. That fixes the crashing/freeze problem at least for me. Here is the first full 2 chapters of a playthrough.

no dlc and you need to use a russian VPN, keys havent been sent yet cause it's not out in the eu(uk for me) yet

Is there ever going to be a way to disable post-processing or at least motion blur? I've fucked with the video settings file but changing shader model and even changing the postprocessing line does absolutely nothing.
So my dick burns on the inside and its making playing this a lot less enjoyable.
Oh, and is anyone having the problem where you load your save and you are spammed with loads of quests that you have already accepted?

intkeys but you have to use a russian vpn to activate it afaik, and it doesn't come with pre order shit.

So. Any first hand experiences on the characters you play FP? I know about Sam and his concrete fists of Death. But what about the other 3 characters?

Beat it after 13 hours and 10 minutes. Fuck the last boss.
Also am lvl 31... Gonna go back and replay it doing all the side quests until I cap out... Which is lvl 50.

Can somebody answer me regarding the intro, I've only being playing for like 2 hours. But basically I was wondering, is the person the intro follows meant to be the player or somebody else? Because you bump into all the main characters in the intro, but then the character you choose wakes up in a room that seems a lot like the one the guy in the intro was in?
