We’ve not had any word from publishers yet regarding Dead Island keys.
We’re still working on this, we have chased the published several times today. We’ll also be asking about getting our customers any additional extras the publisher has promised to users affected by the problems caused by launching the incorrect version.
Until then there’s very little to report other than that we’re working on it. As always, you can issue a refund through the site. I've been playing this game on a HP Dv7 laptop and i run on the normal video settings no lag, but this bitch heats up my laptop red colored.
I didnt have any bugs until now with co-op not working.I like the fact that i have to count how many zombies are in a area before I jump in swinging. you cant take on 6 zombies at a time with out getting thrown a few times(unless you have a gun).
If it comes to it stand back to a wall and just spam kick them till they stop moving.
All I can say is stop playing it like l4d, try to play it slow like fallout.
two quick questions before I go all demolition derby on my truck:
Do drivable vehicles take damage?
Do they run out of gas?
I wish they had randomized zombie spawns a bit. Once you've gone through an area, the same zombies will always spawn in the same places, meaning that you can prepare a little [i]too[/i] well.

yeah they take dmg, no gas to worry about the truck will start to smoke before it breaks.

In my multiplayer save it took me half an hour to get Level 1, in my SP save I got it right after the first mission.
Was tempted to buy this as i found out i have spare money, but cant be arsed waiting an extra day because steam UK is cruel to its loyal customers

Spend the £30 now and get a few days in on it, or spend £30 now, wait till the 9th for it to unlock, play it for a day then i am away for a few weeks.
These extra 2 days mean alot to me.

Ok I found the Dead Island folder in documents, seems to be a settings program but it says it's not a valid win32 application.... Fuck.

It's just windows being dumb and thinking their configuration is a screensaver file when it isn't. Open notepad, then drag Video.scr into it. Make your changes, then save it, and mark it as read only.

The update pretty much fixed everything that pissed me off in the Dev build.
The game is really fun and co-op is a blast.

I think they mentioned that if you replay the game in the hard mode I think you unlock after completing the main story then zombies are randomly generated.
