Well we couldn't really see that zombie when he was fully dead on the ground.
hmm....when i saw the trailer,it looked a lot like dead rising 2.now i heard about 4 player coop, reminded me of l4d conclusion:dead rising like l4d or l4d like dead rising :psyboom:

But L4D isn't really zombies. Read the OP.
I copied this comment off a Dead Island video on youtube. At around* 2:35 in, you can see the writing on the guys shirt. It says "No: 15 06 JUN" could this reference to a poss. release date? This is the video.
Was Dead Island first announced at June 15, 2006? I'm also thinking it references to Lost Planet and Halo for some reason.
I thought it might be referencing it's first release aswell.
Wow this doesn't look as stupid as Dead Rising 2
Wow. That whole skin thing at the end surprised me. I never noticed that.
Yeah that surprised me too.
Wow this doesn't look as stupid as Dead Rising 2
Why does Dead Rising look stupid?
I mean, it doesn't seem as stupid as Dead Rising
I mean, it doesn't seem as stupid as Dead Rising
Dead Rising was supposed to be stupid. Honestly it's like no one can enjoy a game unless its SO REAL AND GRITTY
Never said it wasn't supposed to be stupid.
Personally I disliked Dead Rising and it's arcade style. Limited time and magically disappearing weapons after a certain number of hits just gets so old...
Dead Rising was decent because it didn't take itself seriously. The only problem was the weapon damage and time system.
I know it's already been done but I had to fix the audio:
I remember reading about this like a year ago. I was fapping all the way through that new trailer, it looks orgasmic :v:
Hopefully random human NPCs actually turn into zombies when they are bitten.
The skin thing was for dramatic effect, the trailer wasn't mean to be viewed in chronological order so it tries to make you think that shes just a normal dead girl in the beginning but then it shows you what happened to her.
I loved the original trailer, when it was going backwards. Just because at the end, they are taking their picture together, so fucking sad ;_; It was a really effective trailer.

I'm sick to the front teeth of dramatic irony.

I hope this is going to be like those choose-your-own-adventure zombie games, where you spend most of your time thinking and planning ahead. Zombie plans come handy at last!

From the very beginning you get to choose what you want to do and how to do it, but some areas will be closed until you do some story missions.
If it will have modding tools and extensive engine, it will be the best zombie game EVER. Custom cities and stuff
the music is 1337 :frog:
I am very disappointed that these zombies aren't the infected-type. I hate the Romero-like zombies that can get shot at from a cannon and they jus tget up, stuff their intestines back into their abdomins, and go back to shuffling. Zombie apocalypses need realism to be climactic. The whole fun of planning and thinking stuff through gets thrown out the window when you try to rationally decide on the best way of avoiding that torso that is slowly rolling your way, mouth wide open.
Swear to god there better be the Military arriving to wipe out everything that moves adding even more intense gameplay.

In terms of realism, it seems the most realistic to kill a dead person by damaging the brain.

And Romero zombies are considered the classic zombie so they would be considered the "realistic zombie". I recommend you watch some real, classic zombie movies before you say that these zombies aren't good enough.
