3-4 quests that never went in my quest log.....goddamn it. At least the game is playable.
My game has magically fixed itself.
Where can I find a gun?
Well I guess that was dumb of me. I did the quest to get the revolver, only since I'm not Level 10 yet, I can't take my reward, so in a way I get nothing and I just wasted my only opportunity to get a gun for a long time.
Where exactly do I put these weapon boxes for that quest matutero assigned. I know i'm supposed to bring them to him but where the FUCK do i put them down. this is frusterating
Speaking of, does anyone else think you level too slowly? I'm doing quests that are apparently 3 Levels above me... Even worse is on my coop save, I'm close to this quest and I'm Level 3 (partially because my friends hogged all the quests I tried to do, so I didn't get any real XP from any of them).
He wasn't doing that for me, he was just attacking and I was attacking back but none of my hits did anything. I've been searching for one since I started the game. Tell me where it is.
dude they are fucking everywhere in the city walk around until you find hostile humans kill them all have 20 guns at your disposal [editline]8th September 2011[/editline] there are so many guns i can literally walk around and examine them all and pick out whichever one does the most damage and keep that
A friend and I finally got multiplayer working, and we had tons-o-fun driving around. Great game, bad release.
Is there anyway to change the settings by fucking around with a cfg?

Does the outcome of a custom weapon differ depending on what you use as a base?
Which quest gives you the revolver?
You help this guy find the key to a safe to get some cash, then lead him back to the lifeguard survivor area I think.
Which quest gives you the revolver?
Mexican Guy in one of the shacks behind the big Hotel.
You help this guy find the key to a safe to get some cash, then lead him back to the lifeguard survivor area I think.
where does it begin? [editline]8th September 2011[/editline] NINJAED
So how does this game run on computers?
Also, someone once mentioned searching Police Cars for Ammo. I found a Police Car but the only interaction I can make with it is turning the Alarm on and off.
Crouching is useless in this game. Why did they added it?
So how does this game run on computers?
Excellent. I'm maxing it at 60+ FPS on my old 2007 rig, at 1650x1080 No stutters, drops or lag whatsoever. Engine is pretty solid. 2.3 GHz Dual Core 2GB RAM DDR2 AMD 5670 512MB
So how does this game run on computers?
Pretty fine except for some stuttering. I'm on a 1.6ghz dual core and can run it on low with about 30fps. I know it's not spectacular but for my specs that's pretty good. [editline]8th September 2011[/editline]
Crouching is useless in this game. Why did they added it? Excellent.
I am nowhere near that far.
i was less than 8 hours in when i had a main quest that involved guns, and id done like 95% of all sidequests how far in are you
So how does this game run on computers?
Somewhat playable on my shite intel hd graphics laptop, but my old 2006 desktop will dominate it. That's why i need to find out how to change the settings to go even lower and maybe turn off the insane headache inducing motion blur.
Crouching is useless in this game. Why did they added it?
yes why dont we take out all the features that you personally don't use often youre up for a promotion
I don't know what file to open up. Which one is it?
common\dead island\DI\out\settings\video.scr, open this with notepad. This will make the game look different from normal Dead Island but not so much that you want to rip yer eyeballs out. Idk how to get rid of motion blur though, it's making my eyes hurt... ;-;
I found a Sluggish Magnum in a random chest in the city. It does 282 damage.
i was less than 8 hours in when i had a main quest that involved guns, and id done like 95% of all sidequests how far in are you
8% through the game apparently.
