This game is fucking awesome. There is no zombie game outthere that haves so much characteristics in their zombies and variety. Everything is just fitting, get this game now!
Agreed.
I made some meme's for it already.
Not funny, stop posting etc etc.
COme back from the farthest away lever to turn off electricity, run over thugh, run over other zombies, climb up, kill zombie on floor, kill though with 4 slashes, first two taking the arms clean off. Armored van has shit view but should be fun otherwise.
Not funny, stop posting etc etc.
Oh well, that's the best I could do in 2 minutes. I'll try harder next time.
The melee fighting in Dead Island makes games like dark messiah in sense of close quarter combat feel dull.. I don't even think skyrim's melee will have such an response and impact on enemys as far as I have seen on videos. I will get every dlc if they make it avaible in germany (which they probably don't so vpn here I come) Ryder campaign will also be an dlc where you probably play as ryder (it's the anouncer everybody tries to reach with their signals) [editline]8th September 2011[/editline] I keep mumbling "magnets, how do they work" all the time seeing these magnets in dishwashers and computers :v:
You really seem to like this game. I would, however, say that I like Dark Messiah's combat more. Not sure why, could be because of the movement, which feels a bit limited in Dead Island time to time. Both games are fun, though.
Oh well, that's the best I could do in 2 minutes. I'll try harder next time.
backpedalling after making shit "meme"s with a shit webtool.
To the people who are new to the game, don't always trust the path to follow when you track, as they will always realign when you find shortcuts, don't get confused to the objects, such as object quests that require to be place on a certain spot to complete and turn in (example will the be gas for mick and the juice delivery). as the map is somewhat like fallout but not so bad.
Green Man Gaming got more keys! YES I GOT IT ACTIVATED OH MY GOD :D :D :D
Oh well, that's the best I could do in 2 minutes. I'll try harder next time.
how about not making memes at all

I mean you can dodge and if you want extended combat then go to options controls and set combat type from digital (its like that on the xbox360) to analog, that shit completly makes the combat manually. You need to swing, choose your own direction (it gives more options to do so than the digital combat which is left swing right swing) and also more precision, but it's hard to get used too :v: Need to try it out more today.. I bet that way I can cut off limbs way better. Also sorry Dragory and everyone if I seem like a child or dumb from all these shitposts about how good the game is. It's just that this game makes me amazed every time I play it.. maybe I feel like a happy child when playing this game I don't know why :v: it turns me from beeing 18 years old back to 13 years old.
I fully understand that. But what makes it ok for a developer to release and unfinished game and make us wait for a patch? I guess I am a daft for thinking developers should release finished products, not unfinished shit and make us wait for a patch.
You're dumb for not understanding that its the publishers that push, pressure and threaten the developers. The devs are more often than not people like you and me (maybe not you, you seem like an idiot) and actually enjoy games and are in the lucky position to be making them. If you want someone to blame, blame the stockholders and bankers because at the end of the day those are the arseholes that get stuff turning, which in turn means the publishers shit on the devs. Don't get pissy.
Currently download at 2.7 mb/s, that's the highest download speed I've gotten (usually around 2.5), it's gonna have fully downloaded in a span of 50 minutes - an hour. Too bad I have to go to school :(

It's always sad to see people beeing so happy about a game which then don't works as intended.
how about not making memes at all
Meme created. :smug:
Not sure if anyone will know the answer to this, though I'm wondering if I had this on a single steam account, would it be possible to log into the same account with one player on steam offline mode and play over LAN with somebody?
I have played it so far and its interested to be honest I have encountered no lag really.. It has good graphics, I love just standing there waiting for those fast ones to just run at me so I can kick/whack them right in the face with an pipe xD Its like baseball except they stop moving and there is no crowd cheering :\, bet the damn zombies ate em
Spent about 3 hours playing this game. Gonna stop playing till my friend get's his copy so we can enjoy it together.
Fuck sake, ANOTHER broken sidequest? "A voice from the sky" has [sp] Nikolai send me to the city to get a satellite phone from his resteraunt, the guy inside just tells me "I can't believe they left me" and the quest just ends there, no reward, no actual phone, nothing. [/sp]
TURNS OUT THIS ISN'T A BROKEN SIDEQUEST The quest CONTINUES once you reach the jungle. the other russians must have fled to the jungle, hence that guy being on his lonesome and the quest not finished. You can finish the quest in the jungle.
Game is much better than I expected, and runs almost laughably well. Goes up to 200FPS at times. Kick is OP though, no stamina loss so I just kick a crowd of zombies down and then keep on kicking until they're all dead. It's also kinda lame that zombies die when you break a limb, when they could continue to attack but with one uselessly flailing arm.
They can and do...
Haven't noticed any of it happening. When I break a leg they just die. Also, is there any way to tell what the number of a bungalow is? I've gotten lots of those radio messages and want to check them out.
broken leg is an instakill, however breaking both arms usually isn't when the zombie is above level 20
No crawling zombies eh And breaking arms seems a bit useless for anything but shit like Thugs, when you can just duck and take out the legs or the head Or you can kick

once you have the truck can you go through to the city at any point or do you have to wait for a mission?
broken leg is an instakill, however breaking both arms usually isn't when the zombie is above level 20
I've had legless zombies flopping around on the floor...

Also you can break limbs and they flail around, on all type of zombies.. Play more and you'll see  also hit the shoulder for faster breaking.
With Sam B, I killed a thug with 2 moves. My first swipe does a lucky insta-knockout (from a skill), then I do a jumpstomp on its head to instakill it. What's with everyone not knowing where to find a pistol? I found one in my second hour of play! Inside the storeroom of one of the bars out near the bungalows over the water (diamond?) there sits a dead human. A gun spawns next to him fairly reliably. It seems to spawn with a level higher than your own, and there's no ammo for it either.
