I'm getting tired of this. After like 10-30 minutes playing with friends my computer decides to lock up, and so the only solution to this is to do a Hard-reset.
This has happend quite a number of times now and the game runs smooth as a baby's butt.
Anyone know a possible solution to fixing this?

It appears to be the work of overheating on the GPU, and apparently the uncapped FPS is the cause of it. Meaning that I need to enable Vsync, although I hate using Vsync in most games because it makes it runs like shit.
Game crashes on start up. Nuff said.

They're not going to be revoked. You would love them to, but I'm doubtful anything will happen.
Anyone help me trouble shoot, I start DI from steam and I get the grey preparing to launch then the black and red DI box shows up for about half a second then closes. My system meets above and beyond the specs as I got 150+ fps last night when it worked. I do have a nvdia 560ti but I don't think this is graphical related. I have tried deleted the .blob file in the steam folder and restarting. Using the gcf method in my steam library. And last restarting my computer as an last ditch effort. Any suggestions on helping me fp?

Kind of useless finding guns outside of the city because ammo is really fucking rare unless you pick it up from hostile humans.

its very hard to find, ive only found 3 and im at the town. She gives you diamonds for it. so its totally worth it.
When I found out that you could actually drink alcohol and that it wasn't just a miscellaneous object, I downed seven bottles at once and charged a horde of zombies with a sickle in a fit of drunken rage. I managed to hit one, and then I fell over, and had to wait until it had worn off so that I could fucking see what I was blindly flailing my arms at.

I'm planning on buying the game this weekend but I have to send my computer away to be repaired on monday, I have a less powerfull backup to play it on though. Are the Dead Island saves stored in a folder so I can transfer them back to my normal PC when it gets back?

Goto \Steam\steamapps\common\dead island\DI\Data\game.ini
Find the line that says Locale("En") and change it to Locale("en") and yes the case does matter.
And that seems to fix it for some reason.

Just finished a 9 hour stint with my friend. Fucking good fun. So many quests we've done and to do, we're only in the middle of act 2. Plenty of content. Also got a pistol and plenty of ammo now, which is nice.
Got some wicked custom weapons aswell.
The bugs are fixed.

I heard this game is good, and I'm probably going to buy it, but at how much should I get it? I dont see it worth being 50$ currently.
